The Reine de Naples collection finds its roots in the daring request of Caroline Murat, Napoleon Bonaparte's younger sister, who, in 1810, commissioned Abraham-Louis Breguet to create the world's first wristwatch. Murat, a woman of great intelligence and literary culture, was a patron of the arts and a champion of social and educational reform. Her love for Breguet's timepieces was evident, as she amassed an impressive collection of over 30 pieces.

The new Reine de Naples variation emerges in a captivating mint green hue, a color that symbolizes hope and renewal. Its dial, crafted from luminous white mother-of-pearl, is adorned with a sparkling chapter ring created using the exquisite snow-setting technique. The iconic Breguet open-tipped hands gracefully indicate the hours and minutes, while a pear-shaped diamond at 6 o'clock adds a touch of poetic embellishment.

The Arabic numerals, a hallmark of Breguet's designs, are rendered in a two-dimensional effect by layering two shades of green, lending depth and sophistication to the dial. Adhering to the brand's time-honored traditions, each timepiece bears a unique number between 11 and 12 o'clock, ensuring its authenticity and enabling its history to be traced throughout its existence.

Surrounding the dial is an inner flange and bezel adorned with 117 brilliant-cut diamonds, suffusing the watch with a luminous glow befitting of royalty. The crown, a symbol of Breguet's mastery, is topped with a briolette-cut diamond, adding a touch of elegance to this horological masterpiece.

Beating within the ovoid 36.5 x 28.45 mm white gold case is the 537/3 self-winding movement, comprising 191 components and boasting a 45-hour power reserve. Notably, this caliber is equipped with a balance spring and an in-line Swiss lever escapement made of silicon, a material renowned for its resistance to corrosion, wear, and magnetic fields, ensuring unparalleled accuracy.

The sapphire-crystal caseback reveals the platinum weight, as well as the meticulously decorated movement adorned with Côtes de Genève patterns, polished screws, and chamfered edges – a testament to Breguet's unwavering commitment to artisanal craftsmanship.

Completing this exquisite timepiece is an alligator leather strap fastened by a folding clasp set with 28 brilliant-cut diamonds, ensuring a seamless and secure fit on the wrist.
