Launched in 2021 to great acclaim, the Hermès H08 watch model is the design inception of Philippe Delhotal, Creative Director of Hermès Horloger. The distinct geometric shape of the timepiece is its hallmark allure and the H08 watch features a blend of rigorous discipline and originality. The aesthetic styling of the timepiece is reflected along its multitude of facets and at the Watches and Wonders 2023, Hermès introduced its audiences to the all-new H08 Chronograph.

Forging a sporty yet elegant character, the timepiece while continuing to echo the masculine universe of the house welcomes its latest iteration, the H08 Chronograph which is sculpted from a block of multi-layered composite of carbon fibre and graphene powder. The timepiece launched at Watches and Wonders adorns a cushion-shaped case while being resistant and light to wear.

Simplifying Timekeeping Function With A Monopusher Chronograph

The case for the Hermès H08 Chronograph features a satin-finished and polished titanium bezel atop a textured case middle. The orange-rimmed monopusher is embedded within the black PVD-coated crown at 3 o’clock. This discreet, intuitive single button serves to activate the chronograph’s start, stop and reset functions by successive presses.

Giving the timepiece a dynamic appeal and added depth is the interplay of materials and finishes of the black dial, itself enlivened by two retro-styled counters and a cushion-shaped date. Black gold hands and luminescent applied numerals complete the dial aesthetic. The timekeeping displays are accentuated with orange touches and powered by the Hermès H1837 mechanical self-winding movement coupled with a chronograph module. The watch is born on an orange rubber strap featuring a generous pattern reminiscent of Hermès weaves.
