With its signature focus on traditional skills and expertise, H. Moser & Cie. is revisiting its fumé dials to pay tribute to the art of enamelling, imbuing this age-old technique with a modern sensibility. This has given rise to an intense new colourway, with a fresh vibrancy and an original hammered texture used to eye-catching effect. In a 40 mm steel case with an automatic movement, the Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept Lime Green combines the classic elegance of a 3-hand watch with a perfectly balanced aesthetic and striking charisma.

The 3-hand watch is the cornerstone of watchmaking, and it necessitates the highest level of competence, as it is the intricacies that truly enhance the item. To be genuinely great, the aesthetic must be flawless, with ideal proportions, harmonic forms, and high-end finishing. This is what the Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept Lime Green model from H.Moser & Cie. proposes, though the dial, with its brand-new colour and technology, adds a fresh dynamism to the tranquil elegance. What H. Moser & Cie. accomplishes here has become its signature: revisiting a traditional art form and modernising it in order to keep it alive and well in today's world.

Three separate colour pigments are washed, finely crushed, and then placed to create an ombre appearance, starting with a pattern encrusted onto a gold substrate, as if hammered. The skilled enameller painstakingly applied the pigments one by one, one by one, so that the colours oxidized and melded together without pixellation when heated in the furnace. To get the trademark H. Moser & Cie. fumé impression, a translucent "Grand Feu" enamel dial must be burnt 12 times in total. Each dial is distinct. The finish is outstanding; totally contemporary, with a particularly striking texture and a vivid shade, dubbed Lime Green, that the Schaffhausen-based company lets speak for itself, with no branding or indicators.

At the heart of the 40 mm steel case beats the HMC 200 automatic calibre. This movement, entirely designed, developed and produced in-house, is equipped with a regulating organ manufactured by H. Moser & Cie.'s sister company, Precision Engineering AG, and comprises a double hairspring, instantly identifiable thanks to the purple seconds hand and to the blue balance bridge. Decorated with the famous Moser double stripes, the calibre HMC 200 features a large, engraved oscillating weight and guarantees a power reserve of at least 3 days. A grey kudu leather strap lends the final touch of elegance to this bold cocktail: fresh, offbeat, with a truly modern sensibility.

Truly, H. Moser & Cie.'s own and unique take on Haute Horlogerie.
