Blancpain rides a fresh wave with the launch of two new Fifty Fathoms Automatique timepieces designed especially for women, marking the debut of a 38 mm case in this legendary diver’s line. These aren’t simply a pink it and shrink it gimmick, they’re entirely re-engineered, with carefully rebalanced proportions that retain the power of the original while adding a graceful new silhouette.
Bold in black and playful in pink, these new expressions bring a distinctly feminine energy to one of Blancpain’s most storied collections. The two debut references neither of them limited editions feature radiant mother-of-pearl dials with a soft dégradé effect. One glows in smoky black within a polished 18 ct red gold case, while the other shimmers in petal pink set against brushed titanium. Both dials capture the ocean’s light beautifully, framed by Blancpain’s iconic unidirectional domed sapphire bezels. The black model is offered with three sporty strap options: black Tropic rubber, sailcloth, or fabric NATO. The pink version comes fitted with a crisp white fabric strap featuring two-tone pink stripes for a fresh, youthful touch.
Inside, Blancpain’s calibre 1153 keeps time with precision and endurance—offering a 100-hour power reserve and enhanced reliability thanks to its silicon balance spring. And, true to the Fifty Fathoms legacy, both watches offer an impressive 300 meters of water resistance. But these timepieces are more than technical marvels.
