One of the first dive watches to feature a chronograph makes a triumphant return. With refined proportions, a new Caribbean Blue dial and the same no-nonsense tool-watch philosophy that defined the original, the SUB 200 T.GRAPH II proves that DOXA's underwater icon is as relevant today as it was in 1969. Few watches capture the pioneering spirit of professional diving quite like the DOXA SUB 200 T.GRAPH. First introduced in 1969, the model was among the earliest dive watches to incorporate a chronograph movement at a time when such functionality was rarely seen beneath the waves. Nearly six decades later, DOXA brings the icon back with the launch of the SUB 200 T.GRAPH II, a contemporary reinterpretation that remains faithful to its roots while benefiting from a series of thoughtful refinements.

The case shrinks from 43mm to a more wearable 42mm while reducing thickness from 15.15mm to 14.6mm

The most notable update lies in the watch's proportions. The signature cushion-shaped case has been subtly reworked, shrinking from 43mm to a more wearable 42mm while reducing thickness from 15.15mm to 14.6mm. The result is a watch that retains its commanding presence but sits more naturally on the wrist, offering improved balance and comfort for everyday wear without sacrificing the bold character that has defined the T.GRAPH since its inception.

At its core, the SUB 200 T.GRAPH II remains a purpose-built tool watch. Water-resistant to 200 metres and equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel, it delivers the essential functionality expected of a serious diver. Unlike many modern dive chronographs, however, the T.GRAPH follows a different philosophy. The bezel remains the primary instrument for measuring dive time underwater, while the chronograph serves as a complementary timing tool on the surface. This distinction has always been central to the model's identity, a dive watch with a chronograph, rather than a chronograph designed for diving.

Powering the watch is the Swiss automatic Sellita SW510 chronograph movement

The dial continues DOXA's long-standing commitment to legibility. Hours, minutes and running seconds are displayed with characteristic clarity, while a 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o'clock and a discreet date window at 6 o'clock maintain a balanced, highly readable layout. Powering the watch is the Swiss automatic Sellita SW510 chronograph movement, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivering approximately 56 hours of power reserve.

Alongside the classic Professional orange, Sharkhunter black and Searambler silver dials that defined the original T.GRAPH, the new collection welcomes an additional DOXA favourite: Caribbean Blue. First introduced in the late 1960s and closely associated with the SUB line, the rich blue hue brings a fresh yet historically authentic dimension to the range, offering collectors another distinctive expression of the brand's underwater heritage.

Buyers can choose between DOXA's iconic stainless-steel "beads of rice" bracelet and a practical rubber strap. The bracelet preserves the watch's vintage-inspired character, while the rubber option offers enhanced versatility and comfort in demanding conditions. On the Professional Orange and Caribbean Blue models, matching tone-on-tone rubber straps create a particularly cohesive aesthetic.

Now joining the permanent collection, the SUB 200 T.GRAPH II demonstrates that good design never goes out of style. By combining nearly 60 years of diving heritage with modern ergonomics, reliable mechanics and unmistakable DOXA character, the latest T.GRAPH proves that some legends are worth resurfacing.
