The Frederique Constant Highlife Chronograph Automatic stands as a testament to the brand's dedication to merging timeless elegance with contemporary design. In a world where luxury watches often tread the line between tradition and modernity, the Highlife Chronograph seamlessly integrates both, offering a sophisticated timepiece that appeals to both purists and modern watch enthusiasts. Celebrating twenty five years of the brand’s showcase collection, Frederique Constant unveiled a new variation of its sports model, the 41 mm chronograph Automatic in a lush green shade.

Each version of the timepiece bears a two-compax chronograph, with a small second at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, balancing the Maison’s signature at noon. Three central hand-polished hands complete the set, with luminescent hours and minutes, and the central chronograph second hand. The applied indexes and hands are treated with luminescent material, ensuring visibility in low light conditions. This combination of form and function makes the Highlife Chronograph suitable for both daytime and evening wear, maintaining its allure across different settings. Each model is also equipped with a second complication useful in everyday life, the date, discreetly placed in a dedicated window between 4 and 5 o’clock.

At the core of the Highlife Chronograph Automatic lies the FC-391 movement, a robust and reliable automatic chronograph caliber. Based on the renowned Valjoux 7750, this movement is revered for its dependability and precision. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and boasts a substantial power reserve of approximately 60 hours, ensuring that the watch keeps running smoothly even if it's left unworn for a couple of days. This movement is housed within a stainless steel case that measures a contemporary yet comfortable 41 mm in diameter. This limited edition of 1888 pieces housed in a steel case and offering the unusual combination of an opaline dial with green counters, setting a contemporary, sportier tone. The piece will be offered with three interchangeable straps, as is the custom.

One of the standout features of the Highlife series is its integrated bracelet system. This design not only enhances the watch's cohesive and modern look but also allows for easy interchangeability between different straps. Whether you prefer the solidity of a stainless steel bracelet, the comfort of a leather strap, or the sportiness of a rubber strap, the Highlife Chronograph adapts effortlessly. This versatility ensures that the watch can transition seamlessly from a boardroom to a weekend getaway, meeting the demands of a dynamic lifestyle.

All new models in the Highlife collection have a decorated dial. In the interests of unifying the collection, each one features the same globe motif. Symbolising the Earth, the harmony, the perfection of the circle, it is also the icon of a new generation that shares the same ideal for saving the planet, sustainable and sensible living. An ethic in perfect harmony with that of Frederique Constant, which has always championed quality, reliable watches that are both transferable and accessible to as many people as possible.
