Hublot Celebrates The Big Bang Reloaded Kylian Mbappé In Madrid

Eight years into one of football's most recognisable watchmaking partnerships, Hublot and Kylian Mbappé have produced something concrete. The Big Bang Reloaded Kylian Mbappé, limited to 200 pieces, was unveiled on May 19 at an exclusive event in Madrid, with Mbappé and Hublot CEO Julien Tornare present alongside figures from the Spanish sports world including Iker Casillas, Guti, and Miguel Torres, and international guests including Indian actress Esha Gupta.

The watch itself is built around the Big Bang Reloaded architecture in 44mm polished and microblasted white ceramic, paired with 18-karat King Gold on the bezel and screws. The bezel carries Mbappé's personal mantra "Trust Yourself" engraved directly into the King Gold surface, and the number 10 appears prominently on the dial in the same material, referencing his squad number and, in his own words, a symbol of excellence and responsibility. The skeleton dial in matte grey reveals the HUB 1280 Unico manufacture calibre underneath: a self-winding flyback chronograph with column wheel, 354 components, a 22-karat King Gold oscillating weight, silicon lever escapement, and a 72-hour power reserve. The watch is water-resistant to 100 metres and comes on a King Gold fabric strap with Velcro fastener and a black and white rubber strap. Price is CHF 24,900 or USD 30,000.

Mbappé has been a Hublot ambassador since 2018. "This limited edition is the culmination of eight years of partnership," he said at the event. "'Trust Yourself' is not a slogan, it's a discipline. The one that drives me forward, and the one I want to pass on to the next generation." Tornare described the partnership as "not just a sponsorship" but "a genuine collaboration built on shared values and a mutual desire to make history." The Madrid setting was deliberate.
