The Central Impulse Chronometer (CIC) 39 embodies creative freedom and technical precision, delivering a new contemporary elegance and was also awarded the prestigious Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève 2021 Innovation Prize. Every aspect, from the 18% reduction in the movement’s thickness to the new synchronization of the seconds hands, represents a significant technical challenge, expertly mastered.

Forged from 18k white gold, the case is a pleasing 39mm wide with a thickness of 10.75mm. This limited edition piece is produced in only 20 pieces but is packed with some awe-inspiring features. Firstly, two independent escape wheels are placed at the end of two separate gear trains, each equipped with its own 10-second constant-force remontoir. These wheels operate alternately, achieving a remarkable symmetry. With a detent mechanism that is absolutely one of a kind –its profile, its rubies, its lift angle, its direct central impulse, the result is a truly extraordinary system. This design minimizes friction and ensures the balance wheel receives energy with optimal timing, enhancing isochronism and stability.

All component decorations are done by hand adding to the allure of this timepiece. From fine satin finishing, top and bottom surface graining to bead blasting this timepiece is a true beauty.
