Let’s Dress The Wrists At Cannes 2022

We’ve seen many festivals being celebrated, film festivals even. But, then there’s Cannes. A beautiful to the world of cinema, this glitzy red carpet festival is one to look out for! Held in Cannes, France, 2022 saw the whos-who walk the red carpet in haute couture, extravagant gowns and classy tuxedos.
While A-list Hollywood stars travelled across the globe to walk the red carpet, this festival was one glamorous affair. Well, for us, some looks did really catch the eye! While they were all-encompassing and chic enough, pairing a watch that just fits their style and silhouette would be the cherry on the cake!
Since we witnessed quite a few naked wrists this year, here are our watch recommendations for the looks that stood out the most:
1. Deepika Padukone: Chopard Happy Diamonds Joaillerie with a Tahitian mother-of-pearl dial.
Saris are sure a beautiful way to celebrate the Indian handloom and Deepika Padukone, a jury member at Cannes 2022, pulled it off with élan! The one-shouldered couture sari by Sabyasachi she wore to the premiere of Final Cut, inspired by the Bengal Tiger, was a highlight. It was a specific tribute to her own Indian ancestry, hand-blocked and embroidered.

2. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: Longines DolceVita 2016
Gaurav Gupta, a fashion designer, says he wanted to create a unique moment for actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's 20th year at the Cannes Film Festival, so he presented her as the "new-concept Venus." On the third day of the continuing film gala for the premiere of "Armageddon Time," she wore a custom-made queen pink sculpted design.
A gown that took 20 days and 100 craftspeople to make, it sure created chatter and left people awestruck! Now, which watch could possibly match Ash’s elegance and spiritual spirit? 3. Anne Hathaway: Serpenti Misteriosi Romani watch with white gold handcuff
Looking delicate and goddess-like, Anne Hathaway’s look in a sequined gown designed by Giorgio Armani has left me obsessed! Quoting NY Times which called her fashion “Sparking Rennaissance”, we couldn’t agree more. A large bow-shaped shawl draped around her shoulders and down her back, which extended into a trail behind Hathaway, adding to the drama of the outfit. The Mediterranean Reverie necklace, a piece from Bulgari's new Eden The Garden of Wonders High Jewelry collection that featured a royal blue cushion cut sapphire from Sri Lanka and suited the rest of the set flawlessly, was the pièce de résistance.

One look that was full of homages to New York City at Cannes 2022 would be Blake’s! She was dressed in a Versace couture look that shifted from golden to green to reflect the oxidation of the renowned New York City monument.
The outfit had a huge copper bow at the hip that extended into a lengthy, dramatic train when Lively initially arrived. As she proceeded down the red carpet, the bow untied, revealing the lovely green colour underneath. With the stunning colour change and paying homage to the architecture of the Empire State Building, I’m totally in awe!

Model Hailey Baldwin Bieber stole the show at the Met Gala 2022 with her lovely appearance. Hailey looked absolutely stunning in a white silk Saint Laurent gown with a halter neckline and a high slit.
With her Met Gala 2022 style, Hailey channeled Jerry Hall and teamed the satin silk gown with a sleek top knot, sending out serious fashion goals. She kept her make-up simple, opting for a light bronze eyeshadow and a sleek eyeliner.
We believe Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Reverso One Precious Flowers would be the perfect addition to her naked wrist. The blooms are enamelled in graduated tones of blue, and the foliage is entirely set with diamonds, with a light blue lacquered background providing striking contrast. 6. Julia Roberts: Chopard Happy Sport White Gold
Julia Roberts' sassy outfit was flawless! Roberts attended a screening of the film 'Armageddon Time' and walked the red carpet. Julia wore a Louis Vuitton tuxedo jumpsuit with tails as she arrived in formal clothes. She paired her long curly hair with a pair of strappy black shoes to complete her head-turning ensemble.

Kim Kardashian likes a good Met Gala red carpet surprise, so it's no surprise that whispers of her dramatic metamorphosis into Marilyn Monroe were circulating 48 hours before the event. The main unveiling of course, was nothing short of jaw-dropping. The reference was apparent as she walked the red carpet in the classic shimmering gown, her golden blonde hair elegantly coiffed.
