Gleaming with a sparkly feminine essence and celebrating a traditional collaboration, Bulgari have announced a limited-edition timepiece. Teaming up with Lalisa Manobal, member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink and popular as ‘Lisa’, Bulgari gives us a taste of this sparkling collab in steel and rose gold at the LVMH Watch Week 2024.
The Bulgari Bulgari X Lisa Limited Edition draws inspiration from Lisa’s continual fascination and passion for the Edelweiss flower. Capturing the delicacy and intriguing play of light of the rare botanical marvel, the new timepiece casts a spell of sparkly allure with its mother-of-pearl and diamonds dial.
A Refreshing Take on A Classic Icon
Expressing the artisanal and aesthetic nuances from a bygone era, the original Bulgari Bulgari was conceived in 1975 as the Bulgari Roma. It underwent a metamorphosis and was later released as the Bulgari Bulgari a couple of years later with the 14 letters ‘Bulgari Bulgari’ etched on the bezel being its hallmark.
The modern collaboration piece is a self-expressing canvas of the shared spirit of Bulgari and Lisa. From the tiniest of details to the prominent design cues, each and every facet on this dazzling timepiece is the result of a meticulous artistic and creative endeavor. An Edelweiss flower is engraved on the case back as a subtle homage to Lisa’s affection for the rare Swiss Alpine beauty.
A Dial That Dazzles
The dial of the new Bulgari Bulgari X Lisa Limited Edition captures the heightened optic attention of the wearers as it is meticulously crafted by creating a unique mother-of-pearl mosaic from more than 400 tiny square arrangements. The distinctive nature of the cuts and assembly make every watch in this collaboration a piece unique.
Marking the hours, we find a dozen diamonds gleaming their elegance at the indexes. The steel; and rose gold case is available in either 23 mm and 33 mm sizes and is paired with a Bulgari signature, cabochon-cut rubellite set crown.
Drawing its life from a reliable quartz caliber, the Bulgari Bulgari X Lisa Limited Edition launched at the LVMH Watch Week 2024 is available as a limited series of 1100 and 400 for the 33 mm-diameter and 23 mm-diameter iterations respectively.
