LVMH Watch Week 2025: ZENITH Unveils Striking New Timepieces
ZENITH marks the LVMH Watch Week 2025 with two exceptional releases that showcase the manufacturer's expertise in both technical innovation and artistic craftsmanship. The new launches include a skeletonized version of the Defy Skyline Chronograph and a dazzling Rainbow edition of the Chronomaster Sport in white gold.
Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton: Technical Artistry Unveiled
The latest iteration of the Defy Skyline Chronograph reveals its mechanical heart through sophisticated skeletonization. This new version maintains the collection's distinctive DNA while pushing boundaries with its openwork design, offering an unobstructed view of the legendary El Primero movement.
The 42mm octagonal steel case features a 12-facet bezel and dynamic pushers, with alternating brushed and polished surfaces creating an engaging play of light. The hollowed-out dial showcases geometric cut-outs inspired by the ZENITH "double Z" logo from the 1960s, while three contrasting grey azuré subdials maintain excellent legibility through their openworked design. At the heart of this timepiece beats the skeletonized El Primero 3600 caliber, capable of measuring and displaying 1/10th of a second with remarkable precision. The central seconds hand completes a full rotation every 10 seconds, powered by the movement's high-frequency 5Hz oscillator. Available in black or blue variations, the watch offers approximately 60 hours of power reserve.
Chronomaster Sport Rainbow: Where Sport Meets Splendor
Following the success of last year's rose gold edition, ZENITH presents a white gold version of the Chronomaster Sport adorned with a stunning rainbow of precious stones. The 41mm case is elevated by a bezel set with 50 baguette-cut gemstones, including 40 sapphires (approximately 3.9 carats) and 10 baguette-cut diamonds (approximately 1 carat) marking the 10-second intervals.
The black lacquered dial features ZENITH's signature tri-color overlapping counters and sapphire markers that echo the rainbow bezel. The watch is powered by the El Primero 3600 caliber, operating at 36,000 vph and offering a 60-hour power reserve. Through the sapphire caseback, admirers can appreciate the movement's blue column wheel and open rotor with ZENITH's five-pointed star.
Both timepieces demonstrate ZENITH's commitment to practicality alongside innovation. The Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton features an interchangeable strap system, allowing wearers to switch between the integrated steel bracelet and a color-matched rubber strap. The Chronomaster Sport Rainbow comes fitted with an integrated white gold bracelet, featuring brushed and polished three-link design. These new ZENITH timepieces are available exclusively through ZENITH's physical and online boutiques, with the Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton also available through authorized retailers worldwide.
