OMEGA Trophy Golf Tournament : The 3rd Edition

The picturesque greens of the DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurugram set the stage for the third edition of the OMEGA Trophy Golf Tournament, a celebration of sportsmanship, luxury, and camaraderie. Yet again, the event brought together seasoned golfers, passionate enthusiasts, and some of India’s most inspiring sporting icons.

Highlighting the event were three celebrated Indian Paralympians who have made the nation proud on the global stage. Double gold medalist Avani Lekhera, renowned for her incredible triumphs in the 10m rifle event at both the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, graced the tournament with her presence. She was joined by Simran Sharma, a bronze medalist in the women’s Paralympic 200m T12 event, and Sarabjot Singh, an Olympic bronze medalist who made his shooting debut at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Their attendance underscored the event's spirit of inclusivity and excellence in sports.

Adding to the vibrance of the day was the ever-charismatic Mandira Bedi, who anchored the festivities with her signature charm and poise. The pre-event activities included a specially curated Golf Clinic, offering participants an engaging and educational experience that catered to both seasoned golfers and beginners.

As the sun set over the lush fairways, the event transformed into an elegant evening gala. Guests mingled over a sophisticated networking dinner in the scenic surroundings of the DLF Golf and Country Club, soaking in the grandeur of the occasion. The celebration was elevated further by the presence of esteemed personalities, including former cricketers Murli Kartik and Nikhil Chopra, who lent a touch of nostalgia and star power to the gathering.
