The Speedy Gets All Dressed Up : Omega Introduces 8 New Versions Of The Speedmaster 38

In 2017, Omega treated enthusiasts to a luxurious rendition of the iconic "Speedy" with the introduction of the 38 mm "Cappuccino"  in its 18K Sedna™ Gold. Fast forward to today, Omega has expanded upon this legacy by unveiling eight dazzling additions to the Speedmaster 38 collection in Sedna™ Gold, Moonshine™ Gold, and steel variations, showcase a captivating array of gem-set designs paired with a spectrum of dial colors. 

Both the 18K Sedna™ Gold editions feature a brown PVD dial and horizontal oval subdials with silvery coating, one is presented on a polished and brushed matching gold bracelet with the comfort release adjust system and the other comes with a brown leather strap. The Moonshine™ Gold version both feature a green PVD dial, horizontal oval subdials and a vertical oval date window at 6 o’clock. These Speedmaster 38’s come on a polished and brushed 18K Moonshine™ Gold bracelet and a green leather strap with 18K Moonshine™ Gold foldover clasp buckle. And finally are the four new classic stainless steel editions in two PVD dial colours, brown and green with a choice of fixtures: a bracelet or a matching leather strap with stainless steel foldover clasp. 

These new 38mm Speedmasters come with silvery coated horizontal oval subdials, a vertical oval date window at 6 o’clock, and diamond-polished rhodium-plated hour/minute hands filled with white Super-LumiNova. Turn it around and all these sparkling models come with a screw-in caseback stamped with a Seahorse medallion. The watches are all powered by Omega’s self-winding chronograph with column-wheel mechanism, Co-Axial escapement and freesprung-balance equipped with Si14 silicon balance spring - Co-Axial Calibre 3330. 

If you look closely the dials have been inspired by the 42mm Moonwatch in Moonshine™ Gold with the green dial and the brown dial of the De Ville Chocolate. Fully polished cases and sparkling diamond-paved bezels, measured at approximately 1.5 carats, these editions will surely make heads turn.
