ONLY WATCH 2021 Raises CHF 30 Million

With a whopping CHF 30 Million raised, The Global Watch Collector Community Racing pulse was set by 53 one-off creations by 54 Of The World's Leading Watch Brands–to benefit research against Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
The auction on November 6 at Palexpo in Geneva brought together the finest in watchmaking and the entire community of watch collectors and connoisseurs to produce a wonderful result for the only watch charity: CHF 30 million, exceeded all expectations once again.
Just these five timetellers (Patek Philippe–CHF 9.5 million, F. P. Journe–CHF 4.5 million, Audemars Piguet–CHF 3.1 million, Richard Mille–CHF 2.1 million, and De Bethune x Kari Voutilainen–CHF 1.3 million) have surpassed the one million mark. Only Watch 2021, conducted by Christie's, will go down in history alongside the previous eight editions. You could see the space, despite its size, packed with international supporters, collectors, philanthropists, wristwatch company representatives, scientists, and reporters speaking all the world's languages, with over 100 media professionals in attendance to cover the event.
H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco said as he opened the 9th Edition of Only Watch, adding, "We rarely take the time to reflect on the progress accomplished. But we should be proud of ourselves today: we've gone a long way. We're about to start a clinical trial for a medicinal remedy developed using ONLY WATCH money. We will give twelve adolescents and young men a medicine that doctors believe can soon help them overcome the disease. I owe my gratitude to the entire Only Watch community.”
