An Homage To A Community Like No Other: Panerai Presents The New Luminor Venticinque PAM02025

To mark 25 years since the birth of the Paneristi community, Panerai is unveiling a special creation: the Luminor Venticinque PAM02025. Limited to just 1,000 pieces, the watch will be previewed with pre-orders open only to the community. The official release is slated for September 2025, and for the first month, availability will remain strictly reserved for Paneristi before opening to the wider public.
The Paneristi community, today numbering more than 30,000 members across 30 hubs worldwide, has long been at the heart of Panerai’s story. Born out of a shared passion, it is a network that thrives on camaraderie, exchange, and love for the brand’s heritage. Over the years, P-Day has become a global tradition, hosted in cities from Cologne and Frankfurt to Singapore, New York, Hong Kong, Athens, Paris, and Lisbon. This enduring relationship has also been celebrated with a series of dedicated editions from the Luminor Marina PAM00195 in 2004 to the Radiomir Paneristi 20th Anniversary PAM02020 in 2020 each one a milestone in the collective journey. “Choosing such milestones is never easy. Working with Panerai team is an indescribable honor,” says Padraig Conway, founder of Paneristi.com, who was involved in designing the new timepiece.
The new Luminor Venticinque PAM02025 carries this tradition forward. Developed in close collaboration with the community, it reflects their voices and preferences in its design. Padraig Conway, founder of Paneristi.com, who contributed to the creative process, describes the piece as a bridge between history and innovation: “The case recalls the much-loved PAM00127, the ‘Fiddy,’ while the gradient blue dial and strap choices evoke the ocean, all encased in a steel brunito finish unlike anything Panerai has done before. It is a piece that celebrates 25 years of passion, friendship, and belonging.”
The inspiration indeed traces back to the “Fiddy,” itself a nod to the legendary 6152/1. Measuring 44mm, the PAM02025 features a steel brunito case, created through a manual process unique to Panerai. A PVD coating is carefully layered and hand-worked to produce an aged, gunmetal-like effect ensuring every watch is subtly different. This tactile case frames a domed sapphire crystal and a blue gradient sandwich dial with beige Super-LumiNova® X1, delivering both depth and excellent legibility. The distortion of the domed glass adds a vintage character, recalling Panerai’s 1960s military instruments once equipped with Plexiglas®, now reinterpreted with sapphire for superior durability. Golden pencil-style hands, a reversed lever bridge, and a smoked crystal caseback engraved with the Paneristi 25th anniversary logo further reinforce its historical ties.
Inside beats the hand-wound P.6000 caliber, an in-house movement with a three-day power reserve. With a traversing balance bridge and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, it is built for reliability and precision. A transparent caseback allows a full view of the caliber’s clean architecture, underscoring Panerai’s commitment to both robustness and refinement.
True to Panerai’s maritime roots, the PAM02025 offers water resistance to 30 BAR (approximately 300 meters). Each watch undergoes rigorous testing beyond its rated depth, a guarantee of toughness inherited from the Maison’s naval history. Completing the package are two strap options: a vintage calf leather strap with a brunito trapezoidal buckle and an additional blue rubber strap, both presented in a signature wooden box reserved for limited editions.
