Richard Mille has once again defied convention with the unveiling of two scintillating new editions of its groundbreaking RM 65-01 Automatic Split-Seconds Chronograph. Adorned in vivid pastel blue and radiant dark yellow Quartz TPT® cases, these horological marvels are poised to set summer ablaze with their fusion of technical mastery and audacious aesthetics.

The RM 65-01 Automatic Split-Seconds Chronograph is a true masterpiece of engineering, boasting the brand's most complex automatic movement to date. The RMAC4 calibre, comprising an astonishing 600 meticulously assembled components, is a marvel of precision timekeeping. At its heart lies a high-frequency balance with variable inertia, oscillating at an impressive 36,000 vibrations per hour (vph), ensuring exceptional accuracy.

Complementing the intricate movement is the fusion of the case and calibre, a hallmark of Richard Mille's pursuit of perfect harmony. The new pastel blue Quartz TPT® edition joins the existing collection, while the dark yellow Quartz TPT® version is offered in a limited edition of 120 pieces, adding exclusivity to its allure.

Quartz TPT®, a groundbreaking composite material developed by NTPT™ (North Thin Ply Technology), is the star of these timepieces. Multiple layers of silica fibres are saturated with specially formulated resins and heated to 120° Celsius at a pressure of 6 bars, resulting in a material of unparalleled strength and elegance. This cutting-edge material not only enhances the watches' resistance but also contributes to their captivating aesthetics.

The dials of these new editions showcase a rich chromatic palette brimming with energy. Each color is strategically associated with a specific function, enhancing legibility and creating a harmonious color code that extends to the pushers and crown. This thoughtful design element exemplifies Richard Mille's attention to detail and commitment to user-friendliness.

Powering the RM 65-01 Automatic Split-Seconds Chronograph is a six-column wheel that masterfully orchestrates the measurement of time. The automatic movement boasts an impressive 60-hour power reserve, thanks to the rapid recharging pusher located at 8 o'clock. Moreover, the function selector on the crown allows for seamless transitions between traditional winding mode (W), semi-instantaneous date setting (D), and hour and minute adjustment (H).
