In the spectacular, entirely eco-friendly Explorit architectural complex, the Swiss Watchmaking Festival will turn the village of Yverdon-les-Bains into the centre of watchmaking and knowledge transmission. The event will be open to the public from September 8 to September 10 of 2023 in the centre of Switzerland's watchmaking region, only a short distance from the main roads and railroads.

A multi-generational event

The Association du Festival Suisse de l'Horlogerie was established by a group of watchmaking enthusiasts who were concerned with the virtues of knowledge, tenacity, creativity, talent, patience, and dedication to the trade.

The Festival Suisse de l'Horlogerie

The Festival Suisse de l'Horlogerie works to increase young people's knowledge of the watchmaking professions by promoting the ideals of Time.

Estelle Lagarde, Gouache artist and Haute Joaillerie-horlogerie designer

"Starting with an inanimate material, choosing components, conceiving them, and assembling them to generate the " holy movement " that keeps the heart of our time beating... Such is the inescapable and precious work of human hands, so often in the shadow. The soul of this initiative is the culture of excellence, where the artisans of the time are given the opportunity to exhibit their exceptional craftsmanship”, says the Association.
