The annual FHH Forum organized by the Fondation Haute Horlogerie will take place on November 8, 2023, in Geneva. This year's theme focuses on the adaptability of the watch industry to a changing world and evolving consumer landscape.

After examining sustainability in 2022, the 2023 edition turns to "Horology Futurology" with sessions tackling macro trends and practical insights to equip brands for the future. Speakers across diverse fields like geopolitics, economics, science, and luxury will explore long-term shifts and challenges facing society that indirectly impact watches.

Internationally renowned experts slated to speak include economist Ian Goldin of Oxford University, Virginie Raisson of the GIEC Pays de Loire, naturalist Bruno David of the National Museum of Natural History in Paris, and Inès Leonarduzzi, founder of Digital for the Planet. Their contributions will provide food for thought and potential solutions.

Sessions will cover topics such as the interconnectivity between nature and humans, actions to take, and managing short and long-term business horizons.

Industry-focused sessions will zero in on customer perspectives, behaviors, and engagement. Deloitte plans to unveil additional findings from its 2023 watch industry study of 6,000 consumers. With input from behavioral scientists and luxury leaders, discussions will address evolving customer relationships and polarization of trends.

The FHH Forum aligns with the Fondation's three pillars of activity: Watches and Culture by FHH, the FHH Academy, and the annual Forum. By bringing together industry professionals, speakers, and panelists, the FHH demonstrates its commitment to positively influencing watchmaking culture and supporting the industry as a whole.

These timely topics and the array of experts signal the FHH Forum's commitment to provoking reflection across stakeholders, providing information, and fueling discussion to move the industry forward.
