TUDOR’s long-standing connection with motorsport isn't just history it’s legacy in motion. From racing Porsches in Japan in the late ‘60s to today’s high-octane world of Formula One, the brand has always been in the fast lane. The new Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25” continues that tradition with a cutting-edge chronograph that’s built for performance—on and off the track.

This time, the watch arrives fully geared for the future. The 42mm case, tachymeter bezel, and even the end-links are made entirely from carbon fibre—an homage to the material that has revolutionized both motorsport and modern horology. Titanium pushers and a hybrid strap with carbon fibre connectors underscore its race-bred DNA, while the PVD-treated titanium caseback features an engraved production number. Only 2,025 pieces will be made, nodding to a landmark year in TUDOR’s racing story.

On the dial, TUDOR draws from the livery of the 2025 Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Formula One car. The matte, domed “racing white” dial features circular carbon fibre sub-counters, while black-outlined Snowflake hands with Swiss Super-LumiNova® enhance legibility at speed. The design is more than cosmetic, everything has been tuned for real-world performance.

Under the hood is the COSC-certified Manufacture Calibre MT5813, developed in collaboration with Breitling. This column-wheel chronograph movement is built with a vertical clutch, silicon balance spring, and boasts a 70-hour power reserve. It’s one of the finest engines in watchmaking today—accurate to within -2/+4 seconds per day once cased, exceeding chronometer standards.

True to the spirit of Black Bay, the “Carbon 25” retains signature elements like bevelled lugs and the iconic Snowflake hands, blending TUDOR’s heritage with next-gen materials and motorsport inspiration. With just enough throwback to honor its roots and more than enough innovation to outpace the field it’s not just a tribute. It’s a contender.
