The Watch Ho & Co. X Zentier Lapis Sauté Mt. Fuji Edition Is The Summit Of Craftsmanship
With a deep-rooted appreciation for fine timepieces, the city of Hong Kong attracts collectors, brands and watch clubs, making it a key player in the world of luxury watches. One of the city’s most renowned watch clubs is Watch Ho & Co which has helped foster invaluable connections between passionate enthusiasts and prestigious watch brands.
For its second collaboration with Zentier, Watch Ho & Co unveils the Lapis Sauté Mt. Fuji Edition. The elegant peaks of Mt Fuji serves as inspiration for this timepiece that effortlessly blends the cosmic wonder of the Night’s Sky with the precision of a watch. This extraordinary timepiece is inspired by Jackie Ho’s, Co-founder of Watch Ho & Co, first breathtaking encounter with Mt. Fuji during the launch of the malachite Sauté. The mountain’s majestic presence and the serene, starry sky filled him with a deep sense of wonder, sparking the vision to create the Lapis Sauté—a watch that encapsulates the essence of that magical night.

Sharing his thoughts on this remarkable scene Jackie says, “This watch captures a memorable experience I had one night at Mount Fuji, where the stars felt within reach and the beauty of the moment truly moved me. I wanted to create something that embodies that sense of wonder and nostalgia, and I hope when you wear the watch, you’ll also feel connected to those beautiful moments in life.”
Masterful Craftsmanship
At its heart, the Lapis Sauté features a mesmerizing natural lapis lazuli stone dial, known for its deep celestial blue that mirrors the vastness of the night sky. Beyond its striking beauty, lapis lazuli is believed to foster wisdom, self-awareness, and clarity. This watch is not only a testament to refined craftsmanship but also embodies the club’s philosophy “Good Vibes Only” encouraging positivity and joy in everyday life.
A defining feature of this edition is the intricately engraved caseback, depicting the iconic silhouette of Mt. Fuji. Designed by Gerald from eight.past.ten, this stunning motif serves as a timeless tribute to the inspiration behind the watch. Inspired by the fluidity of dance and the precision of a jump-hour mechanism, the Sauté model introduces a unique time display that adds an element of rhythm to watchmaking. This innovative design transforms each passing moment into a celebration of motion.
