Watches And Wonders 2025: Chopard Adds Another Jewel To Its L’Heure du Diamant Collection
For decades, Chopard’s L'Heure du Diamant collection has seamlessly blended high-precision watchmaking with the elegance of fine jewellery. In 2025, the collection introduces a new 26 mm model in ethical 18-carat white gold, featuring a textured mother-of-pearl dial surrounded by diamonds, showcasing Chopard’s craftsmanship.
The collection reflects Chopard’s legacy, fusing contemporary innovation with vintage charm. Drawing inspiration from the 1960s and 1970s, L'Heure du Diamant has become a coveted collection, with each timepiece crafted from luxurious materials and steeped in the Scheufele family’s century-old watchmaking and jewellery expertise.

L'Heure du Diamant: The Perfect Marriage of Materials and Design
This latest iteration of L'Heure du Diamant continues the tradition of striking aesthetics, with its textured mother-of-pearl dial that exudes femininity and iridescence. This dial is encircled by more than two carats of brilliant-cut diamonds, set using Chopard’s signature crown-setting technique. Developed by Karl Scheufele, this method allows light to flood through the diamonds, showcasing their true brilliance. The V-shaped prongs that hold each diamond are delicately designed to resemble invisible lace, creating a visual experience that lets the purity of the stones shine in their full glory.
The 26 mm case, made from ethical 18-carat white gold, is paired with a bark-type bracelet, an ergonomic masterpiece that gently wraps around the wrist. The bracelet, with its fine, lifelike veining, is a nod to the craftsmanship perfected by the Scheufele family in the 1960s. Its light, flexible touch makes it a perfect fit, both in terms of comfort and aesthetic appeal.
A Miniature Masterpiece: The Chopard 10.01-C Movement
Inside this beautiful piece of art beats the heart of Chopard's watchmaking ingenuity: the Chopard 10.01-C mechanical manual-winding movement. At just 15.70 mm in diameter and 2.90 mm in thickness, it is one of the smallest and thinnest mechanical movements available on the market. Despite its compact size, the movement offers an impressive 45-hour power reserve, demonstrating Chopard’s commitment to blending high-performance with exceptional beauty.

This in-house calibre, introduced in 2024, was developed entirely within Chopard’s Swiss workshops, further reinforcing the Maison’s dedication to innovation and craftsmanship.
L'Heure du Diamant Moonphase: A Celestial Complication
In 2025, the L'Heure du Diamant collection welcomes its first moonphase complication. With its sparkling aventurine glass dial, this timepiece introduces a celestial touch to the collection. Aventurine, with its shimmering star-like inclusions, evokes the wonder of the night sky, adding an element of poetic sophistication to the timepiece. The Chopard 09.02-C self-winding movement inside this model features a moonphase display that tracks the lunar cycle with unparalleled precision. Thanks to the work of Chopard's expert artisans, the display has an astronomical accuracy – with a discrepancy of just 57.2 seconds per lunar cycle, meaning it will take over 122 years for the moonphase to drift by one day.

This unique complication is a perfect example of Chopard's blend of artistry and technical prowess. As the moon's phases change, the aventurine dial sparkles, making each moment feel like a reflection of the cosmos itself.
