A collection of Six New 38 mm Big Bangs

The iconic adventurous aesthetic of the Big Bang gets trimmed down to 38 mm and realized in a collection of six new timepieces which offer a toned-down transition for the series. The new Big Bang Integrated Time Only 38 mm iterations revealed at Watches and Wonders 2024 feature the signature Bing Bang looks with their powerful case shapes, large skeletonised hands and the alternating dial indexes occurring as applied indices and stencil-style Arabic numerals.
The Big Bang Integrated Time Only comes in four metal variants, two in brushed titanium with either a black or blue dial, and two in King Gold with the same dial color options. The dial is made of soft ferromagnetic steel, providing optimal protection against magnetic fields and preserving the movement's chronometric precision.
The last two versions are crafted from ceramic. The first version is entirely navy blue, reflecting Hublot's maritime inspiration. The second version features "Black Magic," a signature style of Hublot, with a case, bracelet, and dial in deep black. This is the first time a Big Bang Black Magic watch is available in a 38 mm diameter, a size previously exclusive to rare Classic Fusion models.

Chronometric Precision for A Distilled Watch

For the first time, the watch features the new HUB1115 movement, which has undergone significant upgrades in both technical and aesthetic aspects. The improvements for the in-house caliber for the Big Bang Integrated Time Only 38 mm timepieces include a new oscillating weight and a stronger mainspring, extending the power reserve to 48 hours. The finishes have also been enhanced, with satin-finished bridges and an anthracite ruthenium coating.
The timepieces feature a polish finished or sunray dials which in a surprising contradiction to the nomenclature get a dainty date window at 3 o’clock. These Watches and Wonders 2024 releases might feel a bit out of place in a portfolio of offerings that are anything but compact.
