Watches & Wonders 2022 : A Few FAQ’s & Information You Should Know
Next week Geneva will open its doors to a plethora of watch aficionados, industry experts and journalists from across the globe. Although some of us have been visiting the Salon for decades now, this year may be a tad bit different. From where you can grab a quick bite to transportation and COVID guidelines, listed below are a few FAQs that will give you a clearer insight into Watches & Wonders 2022.
General info, hospitality & services
Dates: Wednesday, March 30 – Tuesday, April 5, 2022Times: 8.30am – 7pm
Venue: Geneva, Palexpo – Halls 4, 5 and 6 – Entry via Hall 5
From 2 pm on Tuesday, March 29, Watches and Wonders hospitality staff will be at Geneva Airport to welcome and inform visitors as they arrive. On arriving at Geneva airport all invited guests can use the Watches and Wonders shuttle service either to their respective hotels or Watches & Wonders directly. Through the day shuttles will run to and fro between the hotels - Watches and Wonders to ease your travel.
Access and Transports: The Salon takes place at GENEVA PALEXPO, 10 minutes from Geneva city centre. It is easily reached from Geneva International Airport, Geneva Cornavin railway station, and by motorway.
By train: From Geneva Cornavin station to the Geneva Airport terminus.
By bus: Take a TPG bus on line 5. Get off at Palexpo.

By Car: Take the A1 motorway and exit at "Genève Aéroport", then follow signs for Palexpo.
Parking: You can use the P12 car park (pay & display) under Hall 5. Open 24-hours throughout Watches & Wonders. There are also 6 specific Watches and Wonders lines in partnership with the Geneva Public Transport Authority (TPG). Authorised vehicles use bus lanes for faster transport times.
Welcome desk: From 8 am to 7 pm from Wednesday, March 30 to Tuesday, April 5, multilingual staff at the Welcome Desks at the main entrance of Watches and Wonders issue badges to invited guests and visitors. Photos for badges are taken at the desks. In addition to the Welcome Desks, printers located at the main entrance also issue badges from 2 pm on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
If you have completed your profile and uploaded a photo to the Guest page, you can download your e-badge with a QR code. On arrival at Watches and Wonders, instead of going to the Welcome Desks, you can use one of the printers to scan your QR code, show photo ID and be issued with your badge.
Four information desks are open 8 am to 7 pm for visitors who require help finding their way around the halls, for information on events taking place in Geneva during the week, and other useful information (Geneva street map, train schedules, flight times, etc.).
Cloakrooms: This is a blessing in disguise. Before entering the fair you can leave your luggage and coats free of charge. The luggage facility is adjacent to the Welcome Desks (N°1 on the floor plan). The cloakroom is inside the main entrance (N°4 on the floor plan).
Workspace: The show also provides a dedicated work area opposite the entrance to L’Entre-deux restaurant.
Press Lounges: Journalists have the use of two Press Lounges with work areas, power sockets, standing tables, a lounge area and lockers. Light meals are also served.
Conciergerie: A Concierge service is located at the Information point. Hospitality staff will source recommendations and useful information to facilitate visitors’ time in Geneva, and make bookings on their behalf.
Bars and restaurants
Located along the bustling main aisle, the central bars serve a selection of dishes from around the world, as well as hot and cold drinks where you can grab a coffee or enjoy a quick meal. For a business meal or a working lunch, you could reserve a table at L'Entre-deux (strictly for the press) located between the Lab and the Press Lounge and Le Rendez-vous (strictly for guests) located between Ulysse Nardin and Vacheron Constantin at the Salon. Don’t forget to reserve your table though. ANother restaurant, namely La Table, is a private affair for invited guests only.
Besides this there is Caffetino, where you could grab an italian style coffee made by a Barrista on the Terrace. The service is complimentary for all Watches and Wonders guests.
The Lab
Watches & Wonders is not just about the brands and their booths. Powered by Watches and Culture, The Lab will showcase new creative and innovative projects. The themes will leverage on Innovation as well as Sustainability, which is a key driver in the sector and beyond. Visitors can also enjoy a drink at the bar of the lab.

Curated by Watches and Culture, Time Design presents more than a hundred timepieces and leads you on a journey through the endlessly imaginative forms a watch can take, brings to light the many sources of inspiration and offers a glimpse of the future. Sanitary measures
What do I need to know about compliance with health measures?By participating to Watches and Wonders Geneva 2022 you irrevocably confirm that you will abide to all the security measures put in place notably in the context of Covid 19 sanitary situation and that you will be sole responsible, to the exclusion of FHH, exhibitors, contractors or agents, of any and all possible inconvenience and/or costs in relation thereto such as without limitation travel disruptions, additional lodging costs, medical expenses etc…
Where can I find the information concerning the new rules on entering Switzerland?
All information available on: Federal Office of Public Health FOPH.
What measures are in place during the event?
Federal Council to lift measures - mask requirement on public transport and in healthcare institutions and isolation in the event of illness to remain until the end of March. For all info about the measures, please read more on the link: WandW website.
What about the quarantine?
No more systematic quarantines on entry into Switzerland. Any additional quarantine costs if tested positive in Switzerland (staff, press, guests, VIPs, ...) not supported by the organization nor the Maisons.
Can I do a Covid Antigenic test or PCR test at the Salon before returning to my country?
Yes, a tent for Covid Antigenic and PCR testing will be set up outside from 7.30am to 7.30pm during WandW from Wednesday March 30 to Tuesday April 5.
- Price of the Antigenic test: CHF 25.- directly invoiced to the person on-site. Result within 20min.
- Price of the PCR test: CHF 120.- directly invoiced to the person on-site. Result within 24h. With QR code.
What are the behaviours to follow?
- Recommended: 1,5m distance between 2 persons
