Dunselman Watchmaking

Dunselman Watchmaking is shaped by the singular vision of Annelinde Dunselman, whose relationship with mechanics began long before formal watchmaking entered her life. As a child, she was drawn to miniature worlds watches, radios, and intricate objects that could be dismantled and understood piece by piece. Interestingly, her early path led her through creative disciplines such as theatre and social sciences, where she discovered the power of making, storytelling, and collaboration. These formative years instilled a sensibility that continues to inform her approach to watchmaking where technical precision and creative expression coexist naturally.
Her return to fine mechanics came through rigorous training in watchmaking and goldsmithing at Vakschool Schoonhoven in the Netherlands. Annelinde further honed her skills in a family-owned jewellery atelier, followed by formative experiences interning at Jaeger-LeCoultre and studying watch decoration at Manufactor. Between 2019 and 2022, she refined her craft at Grönefeld in Oldenzaal, working within one of the most respected independent watchmaking environments in the world. This diverse and demanding journey laid the foundation for a practice rooted in discipline, transparency, and deep respect for traditional horology.
Today, Annelinde leads Dunselman Watchmaking from the historic town of Zwolle, creating her own timepieces with a rare balance of technical mastery and artistic clarity. Her watches reflect a philosophy of quiet confidence honest mechanics, thoughtful design, and meticulous finishing that reveals rather than obscures the craft within. In an era where collectors are increasingly drawn to authentic, independent voices, Dunselman Watchmaking stands out as a brand defined not by excess, but by intent offering timepieces that speak softly, yet resonate deeply.
