Two pioneers in the world of luxury watches are commemorating major milestones in 2023. Swiss manufacturer Carl F. Bucherer marks its 135th anniversary this year. Indian retailer Ethos Watch Boutique celebrates 20 years since opening its first store back in 2003.
To honor their shared pioneering spirit and heritage, Carl F. Bucherer and Ethos have collaborated on an exclusive limited edition timepiece – the Manero Flyback Anniversary in blue.
Carl F. Bucherer has been crafting fine Swiss timepieces since its founding in 1888. The family-owned company is renowned worldwide for its innovation, quality, and pioneering spirit in watchmaking.
Ethos Watch Boutique, one of India’s largest luxury watch retailers, opened its first store in 2003. Today, Ethos has an omnichannel presence with 18 stores across India as well as an online store and social media channels. Ethos began carrying Carl F. Bucherer watches in 2010.
The Manero Flyback Anniversary in blue is limited to just 88 pieces worldwide. It was designed jointly by Carl F. Bucherer and Ethos especially for the Indian market. The blue color scheme reflects the expansive blue skies over India. The sunray brushed blue dial with silver counters and rose gold accents complements traditional Indian accessories. It is presented on a blue calf leather strap with rose gold stitching.
At the heart of the watch is Carl F. Bucherer’s automatic CFB 1970 chronograph movement, entirely developed and assembled in-house. It delivers 42 hours of power reserve. Functions include a chronograph with minute and seconds counters, a flyback mechanism, a date display, and small seconds.
Encased in a 43mm stainless steel case with sapphire crystals on the front and back, the Manero Flyback Anniversary in blue combines fine Swiss craftsmanship with contemporary style. It transitions seamlessly from day to night, work to weekend, city to nature.
The limited edition watch commemorates the shared heritage and pioneering spirit of Carl F. Bucherer and Ethos Watch Boutique. It also celebrates the diverse cultures of Switzerland and India united by their appreciation of fine watchmaking.
