De Bethune unveiled a new DB25QP with a green guilloche dial and a titanium case during Dubai Watch Week 2021. A state-of-the-art rendition of the perpetual calendar has been added to the Manufacture's line of classic watches.

By combining the moon phase, starry sky, and perpetual calendar in one extraordinary watch, the De Bethune perpetual calendar is tinted with poetry and combines the elegance of watchmaking with the precision mechanics of the Manufacture.

The circular case with a diameter of 44 mm, with its delicate and resolutely traditional lines, is discreetly accentuated by the hollowed-out horns typical of the DB25 series, which are inspired by the drum.

A poetic timepiece

The readability of the dial, which is built up by the assembly of ring-shaped appliques delimiting the sub-dials and the hour circle, is enhanced by the refinement of the embellishments and the purity of the green hand-guilloche dial, radiating in 12 sectors.

A palladium and black oxidised zirconium sphere stands in a sky adorned with gold stars at 12 o'clock, incorporating a leap year indicator in a gold pastille in the starry sky. The date is displayed on a dial at 6 o'clock, while the day of the week and month are displayed in windows at 9 and 3 o'clock, respectively.

Unprecedented ease

The round casing of the new DB25QP keeps the harmonious lines that contributed to the original DB25QP's success but is now available in titanium for the first time. This improves the practicality and comfort of the timepiece even further.

An exquisite movement

De Bethune's Haute Horlogerie workshops in Sainte Croix, in the Swiss Jura, saw the development of the automatic DB2324 calibre. It features a perpetual calendar, a spherical moon that shows moon phases with a precision of 1 day/122 years, a self-regulating double barrel, a triple pare-chute system, and a titanium/grey gold balance.

A sapphire caseback reveals the movement's complexity as well as the refinement with which it is finished: Hand-beveled and mirror-polished steels, 3/4 platinum bridge with star design, sandblasted and hand-colored titanium balance bridge and oscillating weight arm, hand-colored white gold weight.

New statement piece

This new perpetual calendar includes a green textile strap with a polished titanium buckle and pin. It comes with a second leather strap. This new reference DB25QPATIS4 replaces all previous DB25QPs in the current De Bethune line. It is a superb demonstration of the Manufacture's technological and aesthetic know-how.
