Carl F. Bucherer has unveiled two exquisite new timepieces created especially for Dubai Watch Week 2023, which runs from November 16th to 20th, 2023. The watches, named the Manero Tourbillon Double Peripheral ‘Green Paradise’ and the Manero Minute Repeater in Titanium, reflect the modern, cosmopolitan character of Dubai while exhibiting Carl F. Bucherer's traditional watchmaking expertise.
The Manero Tourbillon Double Peripheral ‘Green Paradise’ features a deep green sunray dial and matching green Louisiana alligator leather strap, providing a dramatic backdrop for the rainbow of colored gemstones encircling the bezel. Forty 3.9-carat tsavorites, rubies and sapphires adorn the bezel, with 11 additional baguette-cut gems set into the dial. The precious stone rainbow effect makes a vibrant artistic statement, complementing the dark green dial and strap.
Inside, the CFB T3000 manufacture movement boasts two of Carl F. Bucherer’s proprietary. Peripheral Technologies - a floating tourbillon and a peripherally mounted automatic winding system. The sapphire caseback provides a window onto the 18K white gold movement bridge and oscillating ring. With only a single example created, the watch's unique status is confirmed by an engraving on the caseback.
The Manero Minute Repeater sees Carl F. Bucherer’s watchmaking mastery rendered in a titanium case for the first time. The sleek, minimalist aesthetic pairs an 18K white gold-grained dial with rose gold hands and indexes. As a ‘Triple Peripheral’, the watch incorporates a floating tourbillon, peripheral automatic winding system, and peripherally mounted minute repeater regulator.
The CFB MR3000 caliber minute repeater movement produces an exceptionally clear resonant tone thanks to the titanium case construction. The result is Carl F. Bucherer’s most sonorous minute repeater to date after 6 years of development and over 600 components. Further refinements like a black hybrid rubber strap and engraved titanium components maintain the minimalist styling.
