A. Lange & Söhne has unveiled a one-off piece that will be auctioned in Geneva with proceeds going to the Prince’s Trust. The watch has a grey dial on a white gold case and is called the Hampton Court edition. It follows the Maison’s long-time involvement with the Concours of Elegance, where classic cars – and a few very fine watches – are displayed around the lawns of Hampton Court Palace. The Datograph Up/Down Hampton Court edition will be auctioned in November by Phillips and Bacs & Russo in Geneva. The entire proceeds of the watch sale will go to The Prince’s Trust, including the auction house buyer’s premium.
