Mystical, untamed and radiant, the Perpetual Moon 41.5 Red Gold “Year of the Horse” continues Arnold & Son’s celebrated Chinese zodiac series. Marking the Fire Horse year of 2026–27, this limited edition of just eight pieces is housed in a 41.5mm red gold case, capturing the bold spirit and incandescent energy associated with the sign revealed most powerfully under the cover of night.
At the heart of the dial, an 18-carat red gold horse is hand-engraved with extraordinary detail, every muscle alive with motion. Set against a shimmering black aventurine sky, the scene comes alive with mountainous silhouettes, shadowy forests and a trail of hand-painted golden sparks in the horse’s wake. Touches of red and yellow Super-LumiNova transform the dial after dark, intensifying the drama beneath a luminous mother-of-pearl moon, where the constellations of Cassiopeia and Ursa Major subtly emerge.
Turning the watch over reveals a secondary moon-phase display for precise lunar setting, powered by the manual-winding A&S1512 calibre. Engineered for remarkable accuracy, the Perpetual Moon tracks the lunar cycle so precisely that it would take 122 years to drift by a single day—provided the watch remains fully wound. It’s a fitting mechanical tribute to a creature ruled by instinct, rhythm and celestial force.
