Venturing into the urban jungle, Maurice Lacroix has the perfect companion for you! Unveiling two new divers’ watches, optimally designed for city dwellers, both variants of the Pontos S Diver 2024 are capable of subaquatic use.

The inaugural Pontos S Diver was launched back in 2013 but choose to focus on the brand’s urban watch Aikon after its instant success in 2016.
However, over subsequent years, Maurice Lacroix received numerous requests to reinstate the Pontos S Diver. Acceding to these requests, Maurice Lacroix unveiled a fresh-faced version in May 2023. Now, the Swiss watch firm has taken the bold step of making a divers’ watch for city dwellers.

The new Pontos S Diver 2024 is offered in two variants; a limited edition model, housed in a bronze case, and a special edition model, featuring a steel case dressed in black DLC. Water-resistant to 30 ATM, these watches are not afraid of getting their hair wet. However, first and foremost, these new models are optimally designed for life on terra firma. Appearing supremely stylish wherever they go, whether bathing in the summer sun or sparkling beneath bright neon lights, they are well-suited for city living.

The first model, a limited-edition of 888 pieces, is housed in a 42mm bronze case and features a black dial. The hands and indexes are executed in golden hues and lined with Super-LumiNova, a treatment that emits a notable nocturnal glow. The case has a warm appearance and yet paradoxically, the watch looks eminently cool. Fitted with a vintage brown leather strap, paired with a bronze pin buckle, this version of the Pontos S Diver promises to look über-chic on urban streets this summer.

The second option, a special edition, has a penchant for nocturnal adventures. Its dial encompasses black, white and yellow hues, intelligently playing with contrasts to impart information free of ambiguity. Paired with a stealthy 42mm black DLC stainless steel case, the white and yellow accents appear effervescent and brim with excitement. The dial of this watch, once again, features Super-LumiNova®, a luminescent treatment that proves especially useful when the nightclub lights are turned to low. This model is supplied on a black rubber strap and secures to the wrist with a sandblasted black DLC pin buckle, matching the case.

Both models are endowed with an additional crown, positioned at 2 o’clock, that operates the internal rotating bezel. Designed to measure the elapsed time spent underwater, it can also be used as an aide memoire in the office. Equipped with the automatic ML115 calibre, the PONTOS S DIVER 2024 does not require manual winding, making it ideal for daily wear. Each model is equipped with the Maurice Lacroix Easy Strap Exchange System, a simple, user-friendly means of swapping the strap for an alternative without the need for tools.
