Thanks to Guillaume Laidet, who spearheaded the Nivada Grenchen’s revival in 2018, the Depthmaster diver’s watch has resumed its deep-sea explorations with several dial variations, including this brand-new midnight blue version equipped with a SOPROD P024 movement. Both retro and modern, the purpose-driven aesthetic effectively makes the Depthmaster timeless. The midnight blue dial captures the very essence of dive watch history, featuring square and rectangular indices, and a triangle marker at 12 o'clock. Designed for underwater exploration, it comes with a screw-down crown and case back to fully protect the movement against water ingress. Its unidirectional ceramic bezel with 120 clicks and a 15-minute scale allows for precise no-stop dive time calculation and monitoring. Its comfortable cushion-shaped case and impressive 1,000-meter water resistance make it the ideal tool watch for professional and passionate divers. The added integration of an automatic helium escape valve, consistent with the watch’s depth rating, ensures reliable operation even under extreme conditions, like saturation dives.
