Over the past 170 years, Timex has been continually pursuing what is new, relevant, and next. Timex Atelier is the next chapter. It is not a break from the brand’s past, but a deliberate continuation of its key principles: independence, quality, and timeless design, alongside a commitment to value that has made Timex trusted for generations.
Where the Giorgio Galli series left off, Timex Atelier now carries forward. The watches are designed so that luxury, the Timex way, is discovered in the details that matter most; not to announce themselves, but to hold up under attention. The launch timepiece, the Timex Atelier Marine M1a, embodies this philosophy. Its 41mm stainless-steel case features a skeletonized architecture with a black IP-coated middle case, screw-down crown, and 200M water resistance all framed under a double-curved sapphire crystal treated with triple-layer anti-reflective coating. A unidirectional rotating bezel is fitted with a black ceramic insert, Swiss Luminova, and elapsed time index. Beneath it, a polished black enamel dial reveals silver-applied indices and hands filled with Swiss Luminova for clarity at all hours.
Inside, the Swiss-made CATENA SA 100 automatic movement delivers 29 jewels, a 36-hour power reserve, and operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Two versions will be offered: one with a stainless-steel bracelet featuring a custom deployant buckle and self-adjustable links, and another with a premium NBR rubber strap for a more technical aesthetic.
