Blancpain is giving its most serious diver’s watch a fresh splash of personality. The Fifty Fathoms Tech 45 mm officially joins the permanent collection, now with a new interchangeable strap system and bold rubber strap options in classic black, crisp white, or vibrant orange. This evolution brings a lifestyle-driven edge to one of watchmaking’s most iconic underwater tools  all without compromising its professional-grade capabilities.

At its core, this watch remains every inch the serious tool it was born to be. Crafted in Grade 23 brushed titanium, the bold 45 mm case houses a helium escape valve and a 120-click unidirectional ceramic bezel, both designed with professional divers in mind. The absolute black dial absorbs up to 97% of light, ensuring supreme legibility even in the murkiest depths. Paired with luminous block-shaped appliques, it’s a study in clarity and purpose.

Yet for all its technical prowess, the Fifty Fathoms Tech in 2025 tells a new story. Thanks to its fully interchangeable strap system, wearers can switch between styles in seconds — no tools required. Whether it's over a wetsuit or on a bare wrist, Blancpain offers straps in multiple lengths for maximum versatility. Color, too, is making waves. While the classic black strap remains, Blancpain now adds two new hues ready for summer adventures: a sleek white and a punchy orange. The latter isn’t just playful, rather it echoes the watch’s orange central seconds hand and TECH dial inscription, blending utility with a welcome dose of fun.

Beneath the bold exterior, the Fifty Fathoms Tech remains a mechanical powerhouse. At its heart beats the automatic calibre 1315A, a movement well-known to collectors for its robust 120-hour power reserve, precise timekeeping, and beautifully finished architecture.
