Bvlgari Unveils The Polychroma High Jewellery Watch Collection In A Vibrant Ode To Colour And Craft
In a dazzling tribute to the beauty of diversity, Bvlgari unveils Polychroma a high jewellery and high-jewellery watch collection that redefines opulence through a kaleidoscope of color, culture, and creativity. A celebration of pluralism and polymorphism, Polychroma is where Italian heritage, Roman grandeur, and contemporary artistry converge in radiant harmony.
More than a collection, Polychroma is a vision—an immersive world where chromatic richness and sculptural design speak a universal language of beauty. Drawing from the Greek words poly (many) and chroma (color), the name encapsulates Bvlgari’s vibrant, multifaceted philosophy. At its heart, five milestone high-jewellery watches take center stage—each a masterpiece of gemstone artistry and mechanical excellence, showcasing the Roman Maison’s talent for transforming rare materials into wearable poetry.

This landmark collection includes over 600 pieces, with 250 entirely new creations spanning jewellery, timepieces, and objets d’art. Among them, a record-breaking 60 are “millionaire” pieces—testaments to the Maison’s daring craftsmanship and unrelenting pursuit of innovation. “Polychroma represents an extraordinary source of pride for all of us at Bvlgari,” says Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari and LVMH Watches. “It embodies the boldness and brilliance that have always set the Maison apart. Each creation stands as a work of art, each gemstone a whisper of rarity and refined beauty. This collection is not only a tribute to our heritage—it is our vision for the future of luxury.”

At the pinnacle of this vision lies a suite of exceptional high-jewellery watches that meld the artistry of Roman goldsmithing with the precision of Swiss horology. With each timepiece, Bvlgari invites us into a world where light, texture, and time dance in exquisite synchrony.
Color as Craft, Gemstones as Emotion
The Nuvole Preziose pendant watch is a sculptural tribute to Roman architecture, echoing the octagonal ceiling of the Basilica Maxentius. A glowing 6.88-carat cushion-cut yellow sapphire crowns the dial, framed by tremblant butterflies and detachable clouds that double as earrings. Inspired by the sunburst of Bernini’s altar at Santa Maria della Vittoria, this jewel captures the divine play of Italian light and craftsmanship requiring over 1,500 hours to complete.
In contrast, Notte Stellata Diva evokes the mystery of a Roman night. A cabochon-style dome reveals a diamond-set moon and sapphire fireflies that shimmer with lifelike movement, crafted on trembler settings. The bracelet glows with dégradé blue sapphires and yellow diamonds, each stone a spark in the twilight.
The Serpenti Aeterna reinvents Bvlgari’s most iconic symbol with sleek modernity. Eliminating excess, it offers a distilled silhouette of the serpent eternal, elegant, and quietly powerful. Available in two versions one pairing diamonds with sapphires, the other with emeralds this bangle-style watch is a study in minimalistic opulence. It’s the only piece in the collection not powered by the ultra-miniature Piccolissimo movement, instead embodying form as its highest function.

Gioco di Forme e Colori dazzles with exuberance. Its dial, hidden beneath a detachable brooch crowned with a 12.34-carat tanzanite, erupts in a cascade of multicolored gems—emeralds, rubies, sapphires, garnets—each shaped and placed with maximalist elegance. The fluid, playful bracelet design offers dynamic motion and vibrant personality—a tribute to Bvlgari’s Roman joie de vivre.
Finally, Tubogas e Colori brings the Maison’s signature Tubogas into a new dimension. Presented as a rose gold manchette, the watch is an exuberant mosaic of tourmalines, rubellites, turquoise, sodalite, coral, and more. A 6.65-carat transparent amethyst crowns the dial, creating a silky, liquid-glass effect—proof that glamour can be both bold and refined.
A Mechanical Marvel in Miniature
Behind these poetic designs beats a technical marvel: the Piccolissimo movement. At just 12mm in diameter and weighing a mere 1.30 grams, it is the smallest mechanical movement available today—an innovation that allows for timepieces as delicate as jewellery, yet as precise as Swiss watchmaking demands. All watches in the Polychroma series, except the Serpenti Aeterna, are powered by this tiny engine, enabling new forms of expression in both design and wearability.

“Fine jewellery continues to redefine the boundaries of watchmaking,” says Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, Product Creation Executive Director. “With the Piccolissimo movement, we’re able to explore bold palettes and complex compositions that pay homage to our archival icons while looking firmly toward the future.”
A Legacy Reimagined
With Polychroma, Bvlgari doesn’t just showcase high jewellery it reimagines it. Each piece is a passport to a different realm, each gemstone a character in a vivid story of glamour, heritage, and individuality. Inspired eternally by the light, spirit, and grandeur of Rome, Bvlgari invites collectors and connoisseurs alike to step into a new dimension—one defined not by limits, but by luminous possibility.
