Into The Deep: The DOXA SUB 200 II Debuts With Striking Fumé Dials And A Milanese Mesh Bracelet
In a pre Watches And Wonders 2026 release, DOXA introduces the SUB 200 II- a subtle yet confident evolution of its iconic SUB dive watch concept. As the most accessible model within the brand’s SUB family, the new iteration refines the formula while remaining firmly rooted in the brand’s professional diving heritage.
For the first time in the collection, the SUB 200 II features a fumé dial, bringing a new level of visual depth and character to the instantly recognisable design. The watch also arrives with a slimmer profile and two new strap options added to the permanent collection: a finely woven stainless steel Milanese mesh bracelet and a new textured rubber strap with a distinctive retro-diving aesthetic. Both options enhance the versatility of the watch while staying true to its diver DNA. The models introduced today debut as a complete collection available in multiple dial colours. Alongside classic tones, the lineup includes a striking black DLC edition paired with a deep Redcoral dial.
A New Depth: The Fumé Dial
Available in five dial colours: black, grey, blue, green and red, the SUB 200 II complements DOXA’s historic palette with gradient tones that add subtle depth while preserving the clarity and balance that have long defined every SUB model. The fumé treatment introduces a new dimension to the SUB 200 aesthetic. The gradient gradually darkens toward the edges of the dial, creating a refined sense of depth and visual movement. This effect is further enhanced by a moiré finish, which interacts naturally with light to produce shifting reflections across the dial surface.

More than a purely stylistic detail, this treatment adds texture while maintaining DOXA’s hallmark legibility. The contrast between the brighter centre and the darker periphery strengthens the dial’s presence without disturbing its equilibrium. The result is a SUB that feels more nuanced and contemporary while remaining firmly anchored in its professional dive watch heritage.
A Bolder Expression: The Black DLC Redcoral Edition
Adding a more assertive note to the collection is a SUB 200 II fully coated in black DLC, including the case, bezel and crown. This monochromatic architecture is paired with a new dial colour named Redcoral.

The dense Redcoral tone deep yet not opaque reveals shimmering dark nuances as it interacts with light. At times almost mineral, at others vibrant like organic matter, the dial evokes sunlit coral reefs in tropical seas, where living structures capture and diffuse light beneath the water’s surface. Its chromatic richness creates a bold contrast with the hands and indices while preserving the clarity and balance that define the SUB line. The result is a watch that explores a more expressive contemporary dimension while remaining true to its diving DNA a tool watch inspired by the sea and the shifting light beneath its surface.
When a Tool Watch Reveals Urban Elegance
One of the defining elements of the SUB 200 II is the stainless steel Milanese mesh bracelet, which takes centre stage in the collection. A direct legacy of historic dive watches, the bracelet represents more than an aesthetic choice, it embodies genuine functional logic. Its finely woven steel links form a supple yet dense surface that naturally follows the curve of the wrist. The closely interwoven structure distributes weight evenly while providing exceptional flexibility, making it ideal for daily wear.

Robust yet breathable, Milanese mesh offers near-textile fluidity combined with the solidity of steel. Its tight weave minimises pressure points, ensuring smooth and continuous comfort even during extended wear. The bracelet’s intricate metalwork softly captures the light, echoing the shifting tones of the fumé dial. Equipped with an adjustable security clasp, the bracelet combines ergonomics, durability and reliability allowing the SUB 200 II to move effortlessly between underwater performance and urban sophistication.
The SUB 200 II also introduces a new textured rubber strap with a distinctive retro-diver aesthetic, offering a second way to wear the watch. Fully aligned with the collection’s historic codes, this new DOXA design has been crafted to balance style and performance. Its textured surface adds character while maintaining the flexibility necessary for exceptional wearing comfort.

Designed in the practical spirit of the watch itself, the strap is ready to handle everyday challenges with the same confidence it brings to more demanding environments. Far from being purely utilitarian, its refined detailing reinforces the watch’s elegance in an urban setting. The result embodies the duality that defines DOXA: a watch conceived for action yet equally at home in the city.
A Slimmer Profile, Iconic Case
The SUB 200 II retains the iconic SUB case shape while gaining additional refinement. Its thickness has been reduced to 12.80 mm approximately 1 mm slimmer than the classic SUB 200 creating a more streamlined wrist presence without compromising robustness.
Although the watch measures 44 mm in diameter, its compact architecture thanks to a very short lug-to-lug distance and carefully balanced proportions gives it a wrist presence closer to that of a 42 mm watch. The distinctive SUB case design, with short and well-integrated lugs, allows the watch to sit naturally on the wrist, delivering surprising comfort and visual harmony for its diameter. The caseback features DOXA’s sailboat emblem, while the 20 mm lug width allows for versatile strap options.

The hallmark unidirectional bezel is fitted with an aluminum insert, chosen for its proven technical characteristics. Lightweight and corrosion-resistant, aluminum ensures durability while maintaining excellent legibility. Its stability under temperature variations and its ability to preserve the clarity of its markings make it a reliable choice perfectly suited to the functional demands of a true diver’s tool watch.
The SUB 200: DOXA’s Accessible Icon
Within the DOXA lineup, the SUB 200 represents the purest distillation of the brand’s dive watch philosophy. Inspired directly by the historic models that defined the 1960s, it combines immediate legibility, proven robustness and a strong visual identity. The case is crafted from high-grade 316L stainless steel and offers water resistance of 20 ATM (200 metres / 656 feet). It is fitted with a scratch-resistant, anti-reflective domed “glassbox” sapphire crystal.

The watch features three hands hours, minutes and seconds along with a date window at 3 o’clock, and is powered by a Swiss automatic movement with approximately 38 hours of power reserve. In short, the SUB 200 II delivers exactly what a DOXA dive watch promises: Swiss reliability, robust performance and understated elegance, equally comfortable beneath the waves or in the city.
