Dubai Watch Week has always been a stage for bold ideas and meaningful collaborations, and this year DOXA steps into the spotlight with a special edition that feels both deeply rooted in the brand’s heritage and refreshingly contemporary. The new SUB 300 Beta Ceramic ‘Dubai Watch Week 2025’ takes centre stage as a fusion of technical ingenuity and modern urban style, wrapped in a striking two-tone palette of matte black and cherry red. It’s the kind of diver that feels just as comfortable in a wetsuit as it does at a boardroom table or on a night out a watch crafted to live many lives.

Limited to just 11 pieces

This exclusive creation is limited to just 11 pieces is the result of a long-standing partnership between DOXA and Ahmed Seddiqi. Both share an unwavering belief in watchmaking as an art shaped by tradition but propelled by forward-thinking creativity. Their mutual respect for authenticity, expertise, and meaningful craftsmanship comes through clearly in this edition. It’s a watch built for collectors and aesthetes who appreciate Swiss horology’s past while seeking designs that resonate with the present.

For Dubai Watch Week 2025, DOXA introduces a new expression of its ceramic series with the SUB 300 Beta Ceramic in a finish that immediately stands out. After the Sharkhunter in black and gold and the ocean-blue mother-of-pearl Seddiqi edition of 2023, this version arrives with a bold matte black ceramic case paired with a radiant cherry red sunburst dial. The combination is unexpectedly elegant: stealthy in mood yet full of energy, with white Super-LumiNova on the hands and indexes ensuring clarity in any light. The cherry red continues onto the engraved bezel markings, bringing visual continuity and reinforcing the watch’s sporty character.

The case has been slimmed to 11.95 mm and bezel reduced height by 0.5 mm

The watch sits on a supple black FKM rubber strap that feels natural on the wrist and complements the case. A grey NATO strap tucked inside the box adds an alternate personality, ideal for a more casual moment. Despite its cosmopolitan appeal, everything about the SUB 300 Beta Ceramic signals true dive capability, from the deployant clasp with its wetsuit extension to the familiar DOXA ‘fish’ emblem.

Its most meaningful evolution, however, lies in the subtle refinements that give the model its ‘β’ designation. This isn’t simply a new colourway, it’s a thoughtfully reworked profile designed for today’s lifestyles. DOXA has slimmed the case to 11.95 mm and reduced the bezel height by 0.5 mm compared to the SUB 300T, introducing a sleeker silhouette without compromising robustness. With a 42.5 mm diameter, a pressure-resistant titanium inner container, and the brand’s patented dual-scale unidirectional bezel (minutes and depth in feet), the watch maintains its full professional diver credentials. It carries a screw-down crown, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and a 30 ATM rating, the equivalent of 300 meters of water resistance. At its core beats a COSC-certified Swiss automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve, ensuring precision whether above or below the surface.

In the end, the SUB 300 Beta Ceramic ‘Dubai Watch Week 2025’ feels like a modern companion shaped by decades of expertise. It honours the rugged spirit of the original SUB while embracing a sleeker, more contemporary form that moves effortlessly between adventure and everyday refinement. With only 11 pieces available exclusively through Ahmed Seddiqi boutiques, it also carries an air of rarity that makes it all the more compelling for collectors seeking something both meaningful and memorable. If DOXA’s goal was to craft a watch where legacy meets luxury, this special edition embodies that idea with absolute clarity.
