Frederique Constant's Classic Worldtimer Manufacture has been a favorite for collectors, combining sophisticated design with impressive functionality. Traditionally, this collection featured dials in daytime white, nighttime black, and ocean blue. However, the brand is now offering two limited-edition models in forest green—a refreshing and elegant addition to the series. Each piece is housed in a 42mm steel case, with only 718 pieces available, making it a coveted item for collectors.

The green color choice marks a return to nature, symbolizing forests, hills, and mountains, and was last seen in Frederique Constant watches in 2018. This universal shade has recently become one of the most desirable colors in luxury watchmaking, particularly suited for a timepiece that offers a view of the planet. The dial, featuring a world map in high relief, is set against a sunburst green finish. This finish subtly shifts in hue depending on how the light hits it, giving the watch a dynamic visual appeal. The continents, finely polished to stand out from the ocean, provide a beautifully crafted and detailed representation of Earth's major landmasses.

Frederique Constant's design doesn’t just rely on aesthetic appeal. The 6 o’clock date window showcases the brand’s attention to detail, featuring a grooved surround, a matte date ring to avoid glare, and a sunburst guilloché finish to ensure readability. These elements combine to make the date hand clear and easy to see.

True to Frederique Constant’s ethos of creating accessible yet sophisticated timepieces, the Classic Worldtimer Manufacture remains user-friendly despite its advanced complications. All of the watch's functions can be controlled via the crown, maintaining a minimalist and streamlined user experience. The automatic movement offers a 38-hour power reserve and is wound by default when the crown is in its neutral position.

Adjusting the worldtimer function is also simple. By pulling the crown to its first notch, users can set the date by rotating upwards, or adjust the city disc by rotating downwards, aligning local time with the 12 o’clock position. On the second notch, the wearer can adjust the hours and minutes, while the 24-hour disc adjusts itself automatically. A sapphire caseback offers a view of the watch’s finely-tuned movement, beautifully decorated with traditional Swiss techniques like the Côtes de Genève patterns and beading. This attention to detail adds another layer of elegance to the timepiece, making it not just a functional watch but a piece of art.

These new editions maintain Frederique Constant's commitment to combining practicality with luxury, offering a worldtimer that is as easy to use as it is impressive to look at. With only 718 pieces available, the stainless steel case, matching green accents, and dark green leather strap make this limited edition a sought-after item for those looking to add a touch of modern elegance and a global flair to their collection.
