H. Moser & Cie. is expanding its offerings with the release of the Smoked Salmon Streamliner Centre Seconds, joining the Streamliner Centre Seconds Matrix Green (also known as the "Green Dragon"). This three-hand timepiece strikes the ideal balance between classic elegance and a vintage vibe. This limited-edition release will only be sold for a single year.

The Streamliner Centre Seconds is a cushion-shaped steel case that is water resistant to 12 ATM, and it takes its name and design cues from the first high-speed trains of the 1920s and 1930s. The case has no lugs, and the steel bracelet is an integral part of the design, making it extremely comfortable to wear. A nod to the traditional odd shapes typical of Moser cases, the middle of the case is hollowed and satin-finished on the sides, with alternating brushed and polished surfaces. The sapphire crystal on top is subtly curved, and the transparent case back echoes this design element. The integrated steel bracelet gracefully follows the wrist's natural curves. This bracelet's intricate design reflects its organic inspiration: its lines are smooth and flowing. Each articulated link has a vertical brushed finish and a polished surface, creating a soft wave. This bracelet is a technical marvel, a work of art that manages to be both subtle and sophisticated while still being incredibly adaptable.

H. Moser & Cie. has introduced a brand-new fumé dial called Smoked Salmon to complement the steel of the case and the bracelet. This colour, a staple in Haute Horology, gives the watch a wonderful sense of antiquity. Incredible vibrancy, it morphs from chocolate to gold and back again as the wrist is moved. The dial is constantly playing with light, shifting from black to a surprising mirror effect and featuring a griffé finish only found on special editions (this model will only be available for one year). The hour and minute hands are made of two pieces, each with an insert made of the revolutionary ceramic-based material Globolight®, which contains Super-LumiNova®.

Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie. and a seasoned fly fisherman, responds to critics who say the fish does not look like salmon by saying, "Here is salmon and there is salmon. Our inspiration does not come from the traditional Atlantic salmon, or "Salmo salar" to give it its Latin name, but from its very rare cousin, the "Oncorhynchus kisutch". Allowed to mature in total freedom and massaged each day by specialists using an oil infused with aromatic herbs picked from the slopes of the Himalayas, this species only eats crustaceans that have been pre-digested by pink flamingos. Each individual fish is smoked using a secret recipe made using Scottish whisky. This is what gives the flesh this exceptional color, and is the inspiration behind our new dial.”
