This monumental event—the very first of its kind—brought together an awe-inspiring gathering of over 450 collectors, connoisseurs, and industry pioneers from cities like Bangalore, Coimbatore, Delhi, and Chennai, alongside global participants from Oman, the USA, and beyond. For more than 24 hours, it became an unmissable celebration of horology, unfolding on a scale never seen before in India.

Held over two dynamic days in the pulse of Mumbai, the event was a spectacle of five meticulously curated sessions, cutting-edge activations, and immersive experiences that offered collectors a rare, behind-the-scenes opportunity to engage with the artistry of watchmaking and connect with the elite voices shaping the industry.

India Watch Weekend seamlessly blended education, hands-on discovery, and connection, offering an immersive experience across five unforgettable sessions:

Session 1: The Ultimate Kickoff - The event launched with a vibrant trivia challenge that set the tone for an extraordinary weekend. Teams battled through 16 challenging questions, exploring the rich history of iconic watch brands and diving into the complexities of horological complications. Curated by India Watch Weekend’s experts and co-hosted by Time Avenue, one of Mumbai’s premier watch retailers, it laid the foundation for an event that would celebrate both knowledge and passion.

Session 2: The Art of Watchmaking One of the weekend's most compelling moments came with Behind the Bezel, a hands-on experience at POGU Watch Service. Guided by master watchmakers, participants explored the intricacies of watchmaking through disassembling movements, mastering surface finishing techniques, operating machinery, and testing water resistance and timekeeping accuracy. This immersive session was a profound dive into the precision and artistry that goes into every timepiece, leaving participants with a deeper understanding and appreciation of horological craftsmanship.

Session 2 : The Watchmaking Experience

Session 3: The Future of Grails - The centerpiece of the weekend, Your Future Grail, was an insightful panel moderated by Karishma Karer, co-founder of India Watch Weekend. Hosted at the luxurious Four Seasons Mumbai, the discussion featured top experts: Ali Nael, CEO, Arnaud Tellier, Head of Curation, and Mohsin Rizvi, COO of FutureGrail, a premier investment advisory for high-value timepieces. This thought-provoking dialogue explored the investment potential of watches, how to identify future grail pieces, and the art of curating and preserving collections. The session was further enriched by live showcases of exceptional timepieces, sparking awe among collectors.

Session 4: Horology Unwound - As the sun set over Mumbai’s skyline, Horology Unwound provided the perfect conclusion to Day 1. Held at Koi Bar, St. Regis, this elegant sundowner brought together collectors, industry leaders, and enthusiasts in a relaxed setting, where connections flowed as freely as the conversations. It was an evening dedicated to celebrating the community and shared passion for horology—a true testament to the power of craftsmanship and camaraderie.

Session 5: Cars & Chronos  - The grand finale, Cars & Chronos, was an opulent brunch that merged the worlds of timekeeping and high-end automobiles. In partnership with BMW Infinity Cars, the event featured not only a stunning showcase of chronographs but also the debut of the BMW iX1 LWB. Attendees were also treated to a bespoke strap station, where they could learn about the craftsmanship behind "Made in India" straps crafted from the finest leather sourced from Italian tanneries. The session included a fascinating mentalist performance and personalized sketches by talented artists, adding an artistic touch to the experience.
