As we step into 2025, the world of watches and horology is poised for another exciting year of events that celebrate craftsmanship, innovation, and passion. From global showcases to specialized gatherings, here’s a look at the must-attend watch events for the year. 

A new year deserves a fresh new watch event and the maiden edition of the India Watch Weekend is just that! India’s first 24 hour watch meet will include an eclectic mix of collectors, knowledge exchange, retailer visits and of course watches. Hosted in Mumbai, this event will take place on 25th- 26th January. Keep an eye out for this one, it promises to  be fabulous! 

In January itself, Los Angeles will host the sixth edition of LVMH Watch Week from January 21st -24th, 2025, marking the event’s first appearance on the West Coast. This exclusive gathering will bring together nine prestigious LVMH watchmaking Maisons to present their latest timepiece innovations to trade journalists, retailers, and a select clientele. After previous editions in Dubai, Singapore, and Miami, this move to LA reflects LVMH’s strategic expansion and a nod to the growing luxury market in the United States.

Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition 2025. The Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition will celebrate its 21st edition at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center from 30th January to 5th February 2025. A high-end treasure trove of jewellery and watches, DJWE typically welcomes 30,000 visitors from over 175 countries. Be part of this prestigious event and immerse yourself in the allure of luxury design and timeless craftmanship.

Watches And Wonders 2025

April brings one of horology’s most anticipated shows, Watches and Wonders 2025 Geneva, happening from April 1st  to April 7th  in Geneva, Switzerland. This flagship event is a cornerstone of the watchmaking industry, featuring 60 renowned brands and independent watchmakers. Along with showcasing the latest timepieces, the event highlights emerging talents, making it a haven for collectors and industry insiders. Expect spirited debates, insightful conversations and of course a flurry of new watch releases from your favourites brands. 

Running concurrently with Watches and Wonders is Time to Watches, a contemporary and creative showcase located near Palexpo in Geneva. Known for its vibrant and innovative spirit, this event is an excellent addition to any enthusiast’s Geneva itinerary, offering a fresh perspective on modern watchmaking.

Aspen Watch Week is another gem for horology enthusiasts in 2025. Set amidst the picturesque mountains of Aspen, Colorado, this exclusive event combines luxury watches with the allure of a high-end lifestyle. With opportunities to meet brand representatives and experience exceptional timepieces in an intimate setting, it’s an event that seamlessly blends horology and elegance. The watch week will be held from August 7th – 10th , 2025. 

Geneva Watch Days follows later in the summer, presenting a decentralized and open-format watch fair. From September 4th  to 7th, 2025, prominent players in the watch industry and lovers of fine timepieces will convene by Geneva’s iconic Jet d'Eau to share their passion. In 2025, a new “Access” contributor category, the Incubator, will make its debut. This initiative aims to bring together under one umbrella smaller, independent, brands highly creative, dynamic, and innovative, but often with limited budgets. Held across various locations in Geneva, this unique event fosters direct interaction between collectors and brands, offering a relaxed yet immersive experience. It’s a testament to the city’s enduring role as the heart of watchmaking culture.

HKTDC Watch & Clock Fair will take place between 2nd  Sep – 6th  Sep 2025 in Hong Kong. Watch lovers will get an opportunity to clock in and experience a world of business opportunities at the HKTDC Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair. The fair presents an array of complete watches and clocks, parts and components, machinery, equipment, packaging and wearable tech expertise.

In November, all eyes turn to the Middle East for Dubai Watch Week held between 19th  November to the 23rd  November, and will excitingly be held at Dubai Mall, Burj Park welcoming returning guests and new visitors in the shadow of the iconic Burj Khalifa. Of course, while the location is new, the goals remain the same. The event will still be dedicated to providing a pioneering programme of engaging and innovative events and experiences, as well as creating initiatives that give back to the industry and help foster the next generation of watchmakers and brands. The good news is that in 2025, there will be plenty of space for the event to grow, with the event doubling its footprint to approximately 200,000 square feet, allowing for more brands, more guests and more opportunities.
