A Sunday afternoon, the sound of engines purring, and the subtle flash of a polished chronograph peeking out from under a crisp white cuff—India Watch Weekend wrapped up in true style. The closing brunch felt more like a scene from a Riviera summer party, with guests dressed in breezy whites accessorized in their favourite watches and surrounded by luxury cars.

An afternoon of cars & chronos

Cars & Chronos, the grand finale of the weekend, took that spirit and turned it into something even more special. Held in partnership with BMW Infinity Cars, the event was an opulent brunch where the worlds of precision timekeeping and high-performance automobiles collided in the best way possible. On display were some truly stunning cars but the showstopper was the debut of the new BMW iX1, gleaming under the sunlight, making heads turn between bites of delicious dishes and sips of artisanal coffee.

And while no official watch brands were part of the itinerary, watches themselves became the main characters. Collectors brought their favourite chronographs adding a layer of charm and mastery to the afternoon. The conversations were easy, the admiration genuine, and the passion shared.

The experience extended beyond the visual. A bespoke strap station, curated by Kurat, gave guests a closer look at the craftsmanship behind “Made in India” straps—hand-finished, beautifully stitched, and crafted from the finest leather sourced from Italian tanneries. There’s something undeniably luxurious about having your watch dressed up in a strap that’s been tailored just for you.

Adding a whimsical, artistic flair to the event were personalized sketches by talented on-site artists, and a mesmerising performance by a mentalist that had more than a few guests doing double takes. With guests flying in from different cities, the entire weekend was a reminder that India’s horological community is not just growing it’s thriving. It was a sensory-rich send-off both personal and thoroughly indulgent. As India Watch Weekend 2025 wound down, every guest had only one question- When is the next one?
