Two years ago, Louis Erard and Konstantin Chaykin unleashed a horological creature that was anything but ordinary—a one-eyed, sharp-toothed mechanical misfit with the charm of a Slavic folk tale and the madness of a watchmaker’s fever dream. Nicknamed the Time Eater, this Regulator-based WristMonster turned heads, raised eyebrows, and sold out in a blink. And now… it’s back.

The new Time Eater is back!

But not just back- it’s bigger, bolder, and split in two. Meet the Time Eater III: Regulator. Two versions. Two personalities. Two exclusive releases. One shared monster DNA. For the first time ever, the Louis Erard x Konstantin Chaykin collaboration will be sold by both brands giving fans a chance to pick their beast by colour rather than allegiance.

A Tale of Two Monsters

On one side, there's the blue-ringed 42mm version, crafted with a textured toad leather strap and sold via Louis Erard’s official channels. On the other, the red-ringed 39mm edition, paired with a grained calfskin strap, available exclusively through Konstantin Chaykin. Both share the same wild soul and signature design: a vertical Regulator layout with a hypnotic single eye at 12 o’clock, a rebellious central minutes hand (part rock’n’roll salute, part mischief), and that unforgettable sharp-toothed mouth rotating at 6 o’clock. This isn’t just a design—it’s a statement. A watch that dares to make time look back at you.

All the Right Wrongs

What makes the Time Eater III so unique isn’t just the face it’s the attitude. The hour is displayed via a convex mono-eye disk that constantly watches you. The central hand, shaped like a defiant gesture, shows the minutes, while the seconds tick by on a rotating mouth full of teeth. It’s as expressive as it is exact. And while every detail feels chaotic at first glance, look again it’s a perfectly balanced mechanical monster. Chaykin himself summed it up with a grin and a challenge: “Making watches together is fun, but wouldn’t it be even better if I could actually sell a few?”

Classic Chaykin part prankster, part genius. But this time, there’s a twist. With both brands now in on the distribution, there’s no rivalry, only revelry. Just pick your colour. Pick your monster.

The Final Bite?

Limited to just 178 pieces each, the Time Eater III is being billed as the final act in this wild Regulator trilogy. But fans of the saga, don’t despair—Louis Erard’s Artistic Director, Manuel Emch, hints that the story isn’t quite over yet: "This time, it was Konstantin who called, with a grin of course! So two years after the original Cyclops, part Slavic myth, part horological joker, we return with a new sequel. The story doesn’t stop here. This isn’t goodbye. The monster evolves. The collaboration continues. What’s next? It’s already lurking out there ready to appear. You have been warned!" Concludes Manuel Emch.
