LVMH Watch Week 2023: TAG Heuer Unveils New Sizes And Celebrates A Collector’s Favorite Timepiece
LVMH Watch Week 2023 has seen several new novelties and TAG Heuer has joined the race with exciting timepieces. From a new solargraph powered movement to titanium editions, let’s get right to the details.
TAG HEUER AQUARACER PROFESSIONAL 200 SOLARGRAPH
TAG Heuer is proud to announce the debut of the new TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph, again powered by a solar movement, just a few months after releasing the ground-breaking TAG Heuer Aquaracer Solargraph at Watches and Wonders 2022. The TAG Heuer Aquaracer series is already well-known for its high standards of quality, durability, and functionality, and this new addition only improves upon that reputation. The updated version's virtues are its portability and durability, making it the best hiking buddy money can buy.
The Solargraph movement by TAG Heuer has gained notoriety for its use of solar power, which is a renewable and sustainable energy source with no limits. The Solargraph mechanism means your watch's battery will never require replacing because it may be charged by exposure to natural or artificial light. The watch may be charged for a full day with just two minutes of exposure to sunshine. After fewer than 20 hours of charging in sunlight, the watch may go for up to six months without any more power from the sun. The watch may be quickly and easily recharged by exposing it to any light source for just ten seconds if the clock ever stops.
TAG HEUER CONNECTED CALIBRE E4 IN ALL-BLACK TITANIUM
The much anticipated smaller version of the black titanium TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 has finally been released by Swiss luxury wristwatch TAG Heuer.
Along with the unrivalled Golf Edition, the matte black sandblasted DLC Grade 2 titanium TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 has swiftly become the most popular style of this collection thanks to its urban, sporty, and elegant all-black look. As expected, TAG Heuer has added a full-black alternative in the universally adored 42-mm size that joined the classic 45-mm range in 2022.
The new clock, which will become a staple in the collection around the middle of February 2023, is a paragon of efficiency, precision, and class. A daily linked companion that is both lightweight and durable, the matte Grade 2 titanium case is an excellent option.
TAG HEUER CONNECTED CALIBRE E4 42 MM GOLF EDITION
The new 42-mm model, which features updated algorithms, offers golfers a host of advantages that have never been available before, making for a truly remarkable game. No distractions, just golf.
Incorporating new algorithms, the 42-millimeter iteration of the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition is the company's lightest golf watch to date. Rarely has a connected watch lived up to its name as much as TAG Heuer’s dedicated golf model, and with the new Full Shot Tracking capabilities, the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition will once again elevate the game to a new level.
High-resolution 2D maps displaying dangers and distances on more than 40,000 golf courses around the world are just one of the golf-related features available on the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition, which also features an updated interface for easy navigation. It allows the wearer to better their game, no matter their level.
While at first glance the new TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition appears to be just another watch with a golf-ball-sized dial (42 millimetres), the golfer will quickly realise that this timepiece is packed with innovative features. The Golf Edition is the most popular TAG Heuer Connected in the collection, and now, in a 42-mm size, it will be accessible to an even wider audience.
TAG HEUER CONNECTED CALIBRE E4 SPORT EDITION 45 MM
TAG Heuer introduced the first Connected watch in 2015, which completely changed the high-end watch industry. The Swiss watchmaker has grown and become a reference in the luxury connected watch market in recent years, especially among golfers. TAG Heuer is increasing its selection for serious athletes with the release of the Connected Calibre E4 Sport Edition 45 mm.
The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Sport Edition 45 mm has been updated with additional features and a new strap so that it can track a broader range of data from a variety of sports. TAG Heuer has taken advantage of the impending release of a software update in the middle of February to unveil a new "Trail & Hiking" app, aimed at athletes and outdoor enthusiasts with a passion for conquering the mountains and setting new records for speed and distance. The redesigned strap of the Sport Edition stands out immediately and does more than just improve the watch's aesthetics. Rubber improves the performance experience for the user. Furthermore, the bracelet's thin mesh, available in two different colour patterns, is an innovative design choice that promotes skin health by allowing for improved airflow.
TAG HEUER MONZA FLYBACK CHRONOMETER
The TAG Heuer Monza, a classic from the Swiss luxury watchmaker's first 160 years, is back as a modern homage to the brand's enduring connection to the world of competitive motorsport.
The new TAG Heuer Monza Flyback Chronometer is a limited edition wristwatch with a 42-millimeter carbon fibre casing. The dial is a striking jet black, and it boasts a two-register design with a chronograph sub-register at 3 o'clock and the perpetual second sub-register at 6 o'clock. The dial's skeletonized construction is both a nod to the piece's mechanical heritage and a window into its inner workings. The date window at 9 o'clock is blue luminous, a first for TAG Heuer; the indexes are blue lacquered; the hands are black and white lacquered; and the entire watch is treated with Super-LumiNova® for enhanced readability in dim environments.
The COSC-certified chronograph movement inside the TAG Heuer Monza Flyback Chronometer ensures accurate and reliable timekeeping. The ability to reset the chronograph without pausing it with the black DLC steel pushbuttons is a significant benefit of having a flyback feature. So far, this cutting-edge capability has been found exclusively in the TAG Heuer Autavia from the modern collection, allowing for even more rapid and precise timekeeping.
TAG Heuer Carrera Chronoghraph 60th Anniversary Edition
Sixty years after the debut of the groundbreaking Carrera, TAG Heuer releases a limited-edition model based on a fan favourite.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph 60th Anniversary is a proud product of TAG Heuer. This limited edition of 600 watches celebrates the 60th birthday of Jack Heuer's iconic Carrera watch with a special 'panda' dial.
TAG Heuer's design and technical teams revisited one of the most collectible vintage Carreras, the reference 2447 SN from the late 1960s, to set the stage for the year-long celebrations dedicated to the Carrera's 60th Anniversary.
The colours are a straight translation from the originals, including the black stripes down the middle of the central hands and hour markers, the double stops at 12, and the black counters with high-contrast white markings.
The dial is silver and sunray-brushed, and it features the classic Heuer logo and the name Carrera. The watch is so obviously Swiss that the word "Swiss" appears on the counter at 6 o'clock! Spot the difference between the original and this one: the 60-minute and 12-hour counters have been switched, and the T that indicated radioactive tritium has been removed from the dial. On the latest version, this has been upgraded to state-of-the-art Super-LumiNova.
From several new benefits, sizes and materials, TAG Heuer keeps the competitive spirit alive.
