On August 9, 2025 the night of the full Sturgeon Moon Swatch invites dreamers, stargazers, and Earth-dwellers alike to embark on a cosmic journey with the latest addition to its Bioceramic MoonSwatch Collection: MISSION TO EARTHPHASE – MOONSHINE GOLD. More than just a watch, this interstellar companion is a poetic dance between planets and imagination, dressed in navy Bioceramic and dipped in a splash of lunar gold. This is not your average chronograph. It’s a space-time traveler.

Earth Meets Moon in Perfect Orbit

Swatch has flipped the telescope with its newest invention: the earth phase indicator. A creative twist on the classic moon phase, this complication shows you what Earth looks like when viewed from the Moon. Think of it as a selfie from space and just like the Moon’s phases, Earth goes through its own 29.5-day cycle, only in reverse. So when you see a full moon here, the Moon sees a new Earth there. But the real cosmic charm? It moves counterclockwise, like a rebellious comet defying the solar system's order a delightful nod to retrograde complications seen in haute horology.

MOONSHINE GOLD is back

At 10 o’clock, under the Earthphase indicator, you’ll spot Snoopy and Woodstock suited up in full space gear perched on the Moon and gazing back at our beautiful blue planet. It's a quiet moment of wonder, made even more special with a UV-reactive message that appears only under ultraviolet light. A cosmic Easter egg that honors the pioneering spirit of the Moonwatch and all those who dare to dream differently.

MISSION TO EARTHPHASE

Zoom over to 2 o’clock and you’ll find the moon phase subdial, where not one but two radiant full moons shimmer in OMEGA’s exclusive Moonshine™ Gold. One moon is styled after Snoopy’s whimsical universe, and the other wrapped in a net-like pattern is a cheeky nod to the Sturgeon Moon, named for the fish once easily caught in August’s waters. It's moonlight with a splash of storytelling.

Designed for Space, Born on Earth

Every MISSION TO EARTHPHASE – MOONSHINE GOLD is made from Swatch’s patented Bioceramic, a material that combines two-thirds ceramic with one-third biosourced materials derived from castor oil. It’s light, sturdy, and feels like the future. The color? A rich, dark navy blue that mirrors the infinite mystery of deep space.
