Panerai Sets The Festive Mood With The All New Luminor Due’s PAM01423 and Luminor Due Luna TuttOro PAM01504
Gold - a material with a timeless appeal that is passed down from one generation to another. A symbol of prosperity and timelessness, in many cultures, gold holds religious or cultural significance and is considered an auspicious metal. Wearing a gold watch can align with these beliefs and custom, especially in India. Panerai recently dropped two new sleek and slim gold watches - the new Luminor Due PAM01423 and Luminor Due Luna TuttOro PAM01504, just in time for the Indian festive season.
The all new 42mm boutique exclusive Luminor Due PAM01423 in yellow gold is paired with a green alligator strap featuring scale ridges in a darker shade to lend a dynamic nuance to the timepiece. The pin buckle too is in the same yellow gold material. The green shaded dial that transitions from a light center to a darker gradient at the edges presents the date at 3 o’clock and small second hand at 9 o’clock with white Super-Luminova® indexes that glow in green in the dark. The open case back displays the automatic P.900 calibre, a three-day power reserve and 5-bar water resistance.
The Dress Watch Of The Season
The other golden wonder is Panerai’s first moon phase with a Goldtech™ bracelet - the Luminor Due Luna TuttOro PAM01504. Unlike the regular pink and yellow gold, Goldtech™ is a distinct alloy enriched with platinum and copper, giving the metal a deep, rich red tone. Inspired by the patented Panerai crown-protection device, each link of the bracelet bears the semi-oval profile of the safety-lock system.
To add that final finesse to your dress watch wardrobe the curved links of this 38mm beauty are both brushed and polished. Sitting on a mother-of-pearl dial the moon phase stands as the centerpiece of the Luminor Due Luna TuttOro, the name paying homage to ‘luna’, the Italian word for moon. Positioned at 3 o’clock, a rotating disc presents a moon set against a midnight blue sky studded with stars. White Super-LumiNova® graces the applied numerals and indexes on the dial, while the matching Goldtech™ bracelet adds a lustrous finishing touch. The open case back uncovers the intricate mechanism of the automatic P.900/MP calibre, with a three day power reserve. The Luminor Due Luna TuttOro PAM01504 will be available exclusively in Panerai’s flagship boutiques.
And if that wasn’t enough to make your festive wardrobe pop, an exciting addition to these models is a new series of quick-release rubber straps in six colours – black, white, military green, dark blue and red for both 38mm and 42mm sizes and a pink only for the 38mm case. All these straps feature the PAM Click Release System and are characterized by their essential, minimal and faceted lines for a cleaner, modern and versatile look.
Just the visuals of that all gold Luminor Due Luna TuttOro with a pink strap on a gorgeous Indian silhouette has put us in the festive mood!
