"Pink is the color of strength, because it takes a strong person to be able to carry themselves in pink." - Alexander McQueen

The other day, I unknowingly crashed a get-together of my father and his friends, all aged 75 and above, when David Beckham blew up the internet with that gorgeous pink Tudor BB. This sparked a rather lively conversation about men and the color pink. While I understand the conservative mindset shaped by their era, I personally adore pink and find it incredibly attractive when men embrace it. Just take a look at the images of Beckham – they speak volumes. This is is most certainly climbing up my wishlist for the year.

Pink holds a unique allure that transcends gender boundaries, and my love for this color extends far beyond societal expectations. In truth, there's an undeniable appeal to seeing a man confidently sport pink or any colour for that matter. It's not merely about conforming to traditional gender norms, rather, there's a certain charisma and confidence exuded by a man who embraces this hue. Here are a few watches I think would look absolutely magnificent on any wrist…

ZENITH Chronomaster Sport in Striking Pink

ZENITH : Chronomaster Sport Pink

A 41mm case paired with a surprisingly comfortable 47mm lug-to-lug distance and a thickness of 13.6mm makes this one quite appealing for all wrists. The dial too has a monochromatic pink design. Instead of three contrasting colors on the sub-dials, the entire watch has a light pink tone with various textures for depth. The pink color of the Chronomaster Sport Pink is subtle, almost appearing silver from certain angles, making it relatively discreet. Otherwise, it functions the same as standard models, with a central chronograph hand tracking in 10-second increments, capable of displaying 1/10th of a second accurately. Additionally, there are small second, 60-minute, and 60-second counters located at 9, 6, and 3 o'clock respectively.

OMEGA : SEAMASTER AQUA TERRA

This 34mm shell pink Aqua Terra does not have the Aqua Terra grooved horizontal pattern but is instead sun-brushed from the center. The hands and indexes on these editions are crafted from 18K white gold, featuring a softer design. The watches are showcased in stainless steel cases that are fully polished and feature the collection's distinctive twisted lugs.

TAG Heuer : Carrera Date

How pink is too pink? Well here is TAG’s 36mm hot pink Carrera Date with a snailed finish on a steel bracelet.. To begin with, the size is fantastic, and the array of colors ensures that the collection has genuine unisex appeal, including this bright pink. But it’s not just the aesthetics! Internally, TAG has enhanced the movement from the Caliber 5 to the Caliber 7, extending the power reserve to a generous 56 hours.

Grand Seiko : Spring Drive Shunbun

In essence, the dial of this watch mirrors the image of cherry blossom petals gently cascading onto calm freshwater, creating delicate pink "hanaikada" or flower rafts. Unlike other pink watches, this timepiece stands out as truly distinctive. While pink dials can often polarize opinions, this one exudes a captivating allure. Its magic lies in its ability to change color depending on the lighting conditions. In dim light, the dial adopts a soft hue that harmonizes with the titanium case and bracelet. Yet, when exposed to sunlight, it transforms into a stunning shade of pink, radiating with brilliance. It comes with a bezel free 40mm titanium case and makes quite an impression.

ORIS Divers Sixty-Five "Cotton Candy" Edition, Pink Dreams Await

ORIS : Divers Sixty-Five “Cotton Candy”

A bronze watch with a pink dial, now surely made some heads turn. It surely got all my attention. A vibrant and lively dial in a pastel pink shade with the bronze case and bracelet certainly contributes to its appeal. The 38mm pink Cotton Candy is versatile, fitting comfortably on any wrist regardless of size or gender. And just incase you are concerened about the possibility of a nickel allergy reaction from the bracelet, the caseback on this one is in stainless steel. What sets this one apart is how the patina evolves over time, eventually complementing the pastel pink dial beautifully.

FREDERIQUE CONSTANT :  Highlife

This Highlife Automatic Pink Dial Watch is the perfect balance of classic, sporty and modern. Its 34mm case caters to those with smaller wrists or vintage tastes, while the integrated-bracelet design ensures a comfortable fit with a short lug-to-lug distance. The dial features a subtle pattern reminiscent of the grid lines found on a globe, giving it that whole GMT vibe. The predominantly brushed case exudes an adventurous spirit, while the polished links of the bracelet and bezel elevate its personality to a more refined level.

Rolex Oyster Perpetual, Pink Edition

ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL

This one’s a no brainer - a waterproof Oyster case with a mechanical self-winding movement in a beautiful pink dial that is both eye-catching and understated. This 34mm gorgeous candy pink OP is paired with a three-piece link Oyster bracelet in Oystersteel. A straightforward, time-only watch, without a date display. It's no surprise that Rolex has the power to significantly influence demand for a watch with just a new dial. The Oyster Perpetual stands as a prime example of how a minor adjustment in a collection can have a profound impact and yes, there is a waitlist.
