Tudor’s Royal Collection Elevates The Sports Chic With Two New Dial Colors
At Watches And Wonders 2023, TUDOR releases two new exciting dial variants, in chocolate brown and light salmon, adding to the range's already impressive versatility and affordable sport-chic thanks to its integrated metal bracelet, notched or diamond-set bezel, and automatic movement.
TUDOR has added radial-brushed salmon and brown dials to the popular Royal, giving it a unique and elegant look. The Royal Collection features reasonably priced, aesthetically refined, self-winding, sporty, and chic watches with integrated bracelets. This collection straddles the line between classic and sports watches, thanks to its superior technical performance and refined aesthetic.
TUDOR has used the name "Royal" since the 1950s to refer to its high-end timepieces, and the name has stuck. It's available in two metal options—stainless steel or gold and steel—four different sizes, and thirteen distinct face options.
TUDOR ROYAL IS A #BORNTODARE
Since its inception in 1926, TUDOR has worked to create high-quality timepieces at affordable prices. The visionary spirit behind the brand, Hans Wilsdorf, is responsible for this mission that was as audacious in its day as it is today.
Wilsdorf, who pioneered the precision of the wristwatch, water resistance, and the self-winding mechanism, had a vision of creating a technically perfect yet affordable watch and founded the TUDOR brand to make that vision a reality. As a part of this unwavering lineage, the TUDOR Royal collection offers its future owner nothing but the highest quality at the most affordable cost.
The Swiss-made TUDOR Royal models have a case that is waterproof to a depth of 100 metres (330 feet) thanks to its screw-down crown and caseback, making it one of the most durable stainless steels on the market. Even though it is hidden from view, the Swiss-made movement is beautifully decorated and calibrated to the strictest chronometry standards in the watchmaking industry. Finally, the high-quality design, production, and finish of the metal bracelet's five links make it stand out. All of these factors, and more, combine to create the legendary TUDOR quality, a philosophy encapsulated by the brand's motto, #BornToDare: relentlessly pursue excellence.
MODERN SPORTS WATCH WITH LINKED BRACELET
TUDOR's Royal collection epitomises harmony, refinement, and adaptability at their pinnacle. One of the design details that sets the Royal apart is its distinctive notched bezel, which features alternating surface polish and cut grooves. TUDOR Royal embodies fluidity and unmistakable style with its integrated metal bracelet that ensures an uninterrupted line with the case. TUDOR's attention to detail in making the bracelet comfortable to wear is reflected in the design details, such as the three wide satin-brushed links sandwiched between two slimmer polished elements.
The meticulous finishes of the models in this range accommodate any preference, with options in both stainless steel and alternating links of stainless steel and yellow gold.
The TUDOR Royal is adaptable to any wrist thanks to its four available sizes. The mechanical movement in the 41mm model makes it stand out because it shows the day of the week in addition to the date. The mother-of-pearl dial and diamond bezel can also be found on the 28mm model.
WATCH WITH ELEGANT DIALS AND A SPORTY DESIGN
The TUDOR Royal collection now features dials with a sunray pattern. The dial's sunray motif radiates outward from the centre, creating elegant lighting effects and reflections in your choice of black, silver, Champagne-color, blue, chocolate brown, or light salmon. The smallest size in the collection is a mother-of-pearl model set with diamonds. The TUDOR Royal watches are finished with a touch of class thanks to the applied Roman numeral hour markers. These applied numerals can be found on all dials, or you can choose a dial with eight diamond hour markers.
Priced at CHF 2900(Iinclusive of VAT, light salmon dial) and CHF 3500(inclusive of VAT, chocolate-brown dial).
