Created to spotlight one of the ocean’s most endangered species, the Ulysse Nardin Diver [Hammerhead Shark] is more than just a professional-grade dive watch—it’s a bold statement in support of marine conservation. Inspired by the brand’s longstanding maritime heritage that dates back nearly 180 years, this limited edition builds upon the solid foundation of the Ulysse Nardin Diver. It’s equipped for serious underwater use with 300 metres of water resistance, a uni-directional rotating bezel for dive timing, luminous details for visibility in low-light conditions, and a prominent running seconds hand to confirm the watch is operational at a glance.

At its heart is the in-house UN-118 calibre, a robust automatic movement that showcases Ulysse Nardin’s pioneering use of silicon technology. The escapement is made from DiamonSil, a fusion of diamond and silicon that’s both anti-magnetic and lubrication-free, while the silicon balance spring enhances durability and accuracy. The movement offers a 60-hour power reserve, displayed via an indicator at 12 o’clock, along with a date mechanism that allows quick adjustment both forwards and backwards.

Limited to just 300 pieces, the Diver [Hammerhead Shark] is distinguished by several unique features. Crafted from lightweight titanium, the 44mm case is coated in deep ocean blue PVD for a striking yet functional finish. The rotating bezel is finished with a rubberised blue insert and features a 60-minute scale—essential for dive timing. The sandblasted blue dial is overlaid with a bold red and blue “X” motif, a recurring symbol in Ulysse Nardin’s design language that underscores the brand’s boundary-pushing spirit. At 6 o’clock, you’ll find a small seconds counter with a luminous hand—vital for visibility during a dive. A round date window is subtly integrated into the same subdial.

A lumed hand indicates the 60-hour power reserve, reinforcing the watch’s readiness for extended adventures. The screw-down crown features deep notches for grip and is flanked by two red protectors that shield it from impacts—both functional and visually striking. You get two strap choices. One is a blue rubber strap featuring a red Hammerhead Shark motif, a blue PVD-coated titanium tang buckle, and a matching titanium link engraved with the Ulysse Nardin logo. The second is a blue fabric strap with red edges and a Velcro closure for secure, easy wear. Turn the watch over, and the titanium case back—also finished in blue PVD—is engraved with a detailed Hammerhead Shark illustration. Red highlights indicate the watch’s model number, limited-edition status, and water resistance. On the underside of the titanium link (from the rubber strap) is an engraving of the “1% for the Planet” logo, reinforcing Ulysse Nardin’s commitment to ocean preservation.
