It’s that time of the year again! With Father’s Day just around the corner, it’s time to celebrate the man and offer your gratitude to him. This is most likely the man who purchased your first cycle, laptop, cricket bat, or watch. It is only natural that you give him a unique, useful, and meaningful gift as a show of appreciation for his infinite hours of encouragement, courage, life lessons, and love.

What would make the perfect gift for him? This year, why not give him a finely crafted timepiece and pair it with an accessory? When he looks at his wrist, he sees something that reminds him of you. Timepieces are timeless gifts that allow your father to keep track of the passage of time while looking stylish. Choosing the appropriate watch for your father might now be a difficult task. We have the perfect guiding guide for you along with some valuable from watch collectors!

1. The New Victorinox I.N.O.X. Professional Diver Le

When venturing into the unknown, having reliable equipment is essential. In terms of precision, engineering, and sophisticated design, the I.N.O.X. Professional Diver LE in titanium is a work of art. Its total dependability is ensured by its ISO 6425 certification as a diving watch. This limited edition comes in unique packaging and includes an exclusive Spartan PS Swiss Army Knife, and is limited to 1200 pieces globally.

The new I.N.O.X. Professional Diver LE is a reliable and stylish buddy in any scenario, whether ashore or underwater, and is inspired by the interesting colours and textures discovered while deep diving and investigating shipwrecks. The watch has a 3D printed pattern in the centre of the dial that is inspired by the corroded brass pieces of art that shipwrecks become over decades in the deep. Other design elements, like the yellow colour used for the second hand and the labelling of the 20-minute zone on the flange, are a tribute to diving equipment's traditional colour scheme.

You can pair this exemplary watch with their newly released Swiss Army Knife. To commemorate the Swiss Army Knife's 125th anniversary, the company has released an authentic reproduction knife based on the first Officer's and Sports Knife. The Replica 1897 is only available in a limited number of 9,999 pieces. This one-of-a-kind knife is individually numbered and engraved with the year 1897, making it an excellent collector's item or a very special present.

2. Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date Watch

With special Montblanc presents, encourage Dad to pursue his passions and make his mark. A special day to show a very special person how much he is cherished and adored. But what do you get Dad to show him that he is unique? Montblanc believes in the power of inspiration and imagination and encourages people to make their mark on the world by pursuing their dreams and passions in their own unique way.

Invite him to plunge into the frigid waters and explore a new universe. It's like plunging through the ice into the glacial waters beneath the "frozen" dial of Montblanc's first ever certified diving watch. The Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date features a 41mm stainless steel case with a bicolor ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel and a 3D relief etching of an iceberg and a scuba diver exploring the glacial seas below.

The watch is available in three dial colours: blue, green, and black, each depicting different colours of glacial ice from across the world, and it comes with an adjustable V-shaped stainless-steel bracelet that can be swiftly and simply swapped out for a rubber strap.

What can you pair this watch with? The Glacier Collection by Montblanc Meisterstück! Encourage him to compose a new chapter based on the endless glaciers' frigid sceneries. The Montblanc Meisterstück Glacier writing instruments inspire the awe-inspiring magnificence of a natural treasure: the Mont Blanc mountain's glaciers. They have a shimmering ice-like appearance, as well as an innovative engraving that evokes the refraction of light when hitting ice crystals, thanks to the blue/grey and white tones with a coated surface.

Every nib in the series is etched with the Mont Blanc Mer de Glace dragon, which is based on the belief that the Mer de Glace glacier resembles a gigantic creature gripping the northern slope of Mont Blanc. The pens can be used in conjunction with the Montblanc Meisterstuck Glacier notepad and ink bottle to provide a comprehensive writing experience.

3. The Patek Philippe Calatrava

The Patek Philippe Calatrava is one of the most traditional Patek Philippe watches and would make an excellent Father's Day gift. There are several Calatravas, but for this Father's Day, we recommend an antique one.

The calatrava is widely regarded as the epitome of the round timepiece and one of Patek Philippe's finest icons, thanks to its clean lines. Its ageless understated perfection continues to enchant each new generation of watch lovers.

When we asked Pavitra Gandhi, Managing Partner at Magnanimous Group what she would gift her father, well sans any accessory, a Patek Philippe was her ideal choice. Like it’s said, “You never really own a Patek Philippe. You simply look after it for the next generation.” says Pavitra. Rightly so!

4. Roamer Superior Chrono

Roamer watches depict fine watchmaking and the luxury of Swiss watches. Don’t you think the Superior Chrono would make the ideal Father’s Day watch? This eye-catching chronograph, which is equipped with a Swiss-made Ronda 5030.D movement, is a reliable utilitarian timepiece with a distinguishing sporty-elegant design. Three subsidiary counters are neatly positioned in the dial's centre; the outer sector, which has a guilloche line design, is dominated by eight conspicuous single baton markers and four double indices. The dial's face is completed by a date display at 4 o'clock. The SUPERIOR CHRONO is available in nine different models, each with a white, brown, black, or blue dial and either a magnificent crocodile-embossed leather strap or a solid stainless steel bracelet.

When we asked Viranchi Purohit, an avid watch collector from Bombay and a member of RedBar Bombay, what he would gift his father, a Vintage Roamer was his ideal choice. “When I think of a watch for my father, emotions that come to my mind are the beauty of old Bombay and that means that the watch has to have some element of Art Deco”, says Viranchi. Also, he’d pair this watch with a shiny croc or stingray strap!

5. Grand Seiko SBGA413G

Aviva Pundole, CT Pundole & Sons had a rather unique gift choice for her father. It’s none other than the Grand Seiko SBGA413G! She says, “The Grand Seiko watch which I have selected for my Dad is a great dress watch. The detailing in the dial paired with the beautiful story about the dial makes it as special as the relationship of a father and his daughter. The special moments we spend together can only be compared to Shunbun when cherry blossom petals scattered by the wind cover the surface of a river.”

This is a contemporary take on the legendary 62GS from 1967. The 62GS was not only Grand Seiko's first automatic watch, but it was also the watch that first conveyed the design grammar, the Grand Seiko Style, that still shapes all Grand Seiko designs today, together with the 44GS introduced the same year.

This current re-interpretation, like its predecessor, has the typical crisp edges and distortion-free surfaces that only Zaratsu polishing can produce, as well as a large dial opening attained through a bezel-free construction. The watch is powered by Spring Drive caliber 9R65, which is hand assembled by the skilled craftsmen and women of the Shinshu Watch Studio.

She’d pair this contemporary watch with a pen to match her father’s personality. “For men the best accessory is a watch and pen according to me. The new star walker defines great craftsmanship. The pen is about exploring the cosmos and foreign galaxies, about being part of one of the most mysterious and powerful of human kind’s adventures and that is something that interests him and me as well. If we could, we would love to explore that together.”

So many different options, so many different opinions but the emotion remains the same- love and gratitude for the superhero in our life! Hope our gift guide makes your choice easier.
