AUDEMARS PIGUET, Audemars Piguet Flying Tourbillon, AUDEMARS PIGUET Royal oak, audemars piguet watches, AUDEMARS PIGUET Royal Oak Offshore, Look at current fashion trends and you'll discover that gender norms are beginning to blur. Remember that the reason we put on a watch or an outfit is to express who we are. Even while there will always be unmistakably feminine watches and decidedly masculine ones, I think it's safe to assume that designers will continue to borrow elements from one another's lines.

Audemars Piguet has been one such brand that does not shy away from breaking gender stereotypes through watchmaking. If you know the Manufacture's history, you'd understand why it's never been afraid to stir things up.

Its famed Royal Oak series was initially a divisive offering that not even the company's board of directors thought would sell well. We are all aware of the consequences. It was followed by the Royal Oak Offshore, which also had a rocky beginning but is now only surpassed in popularity by the Royal Oak itself. Time and again it has come out with collections that cater to both men and women.

Let’s look at the Top 5 Gender-neutral watches.

1. Royal Oak Self-Winding Chronograph

This 38 mm Chronograph is made of stainless steel and features a light blue "Grande Tapisserie" dial with a diamond-set bezel and silver-toned counters. The new Royal Oak design development gives the timepiece a slimmer appearance.

2. Royal Oak Jumbo Extra Thin 50th Anniversary

With a yellow gold case and bracelet accented with a smoked yellow-gold-toned "Petite Tapisserie" dial, this "Jumbo" variant emphasizes the Royal Oak's original codes. It houses the new Caliber 7121 self-winding movement and is outfitted with the "50-years" oscillating weight, which matches the case color.

Caliber 7121 took Audemars Piguet five years to develop. This new movement is 3.2mm thick, as opposed to the previous Calibre 2121, which was 3.05mm thick. To reduce needless friction, the balance wheel is equipped with inertia blocks that have been inserted directly within the balance wheel.

3. Royal Oak Frosted Gold Double Balance Wheel Openworked

Frosted Gold adds a shimmer to the 18k yellow gold case and bracelet, and the multicolored jewels in the rainbow bezel stand in striking contrast to the openworked yellow gold movement.

These watches are able to maintain a consistent rate because they use two balance wheels, each of which is supported by a balance spring that is the exact opposite of the other. The actions are the same. The self-winding caliber 3132 is used in all of the watches; it has two balance wheels, a 3.5Hz beat rate, and a 45-hour power reserve. The finest skeletal finishing available is applied to all the mechanisms. Because of the labor-intensive nature of skeleton finishing, Audemars Piguet is able to flaunt their mastery of the craft while also increasing the cost of their timepieces.

4. Royal Oak OffShore Self-Winding Chronograph

A timepiece that stays true to the essence of the model it was based on. The new women's version (measuring in at 37 millimeters) boasts an 18-karat pink gold case, a diamond-set bezel, and a grey rubber strap, all of which defy expectations.

This 39 mm stainless steel anniversary edition is the first "Jumbo" in history to feature a self-winding flying tourbillon. The Manufacture's latest self-winding ultra-thin flying tourbillon movement, Calibre 2968, measures in at a mere 3.4 mm in thickness and features a striking blend of classical and modern hand-crafted decoration. The watchmakers at Audemars Piguet surmounted a number of technical challenges while also paying great attention to aesthetic aspects in order to bring this timepiece to life. A second, thinner 37 mm version of this model with a dial in a different color will be released in September, further expanding the product's practical range.

Many ladies prefer the larger 39 mm Audemars Piguet models, while many men prefer the smaller 37 mm models that were originally created with women in mind. Some males are developing a serious thirst for watches that are decidedly more feminine in appearance. By demonstrating true gender neutrality, Audemars Piguet has set a new standard.
